Dr. Houk has been responsive, clear in his recommendations and unusually conscientious. It’s great when you experience a cardiologist who is proficient, seasoned and skillful. But when you are fortunate enough to encounter one who also has the patience and courtesy to listen and is reassuring but honest in his bedside manor...... well “that’s the whole enchilada” as they say. And that is exactly what we have experienced with Dr. Houk.

Dr Houck shows a genuine interest in YOU. He’s somebody that looks at you as a human being and tries to find the unique challenge that you are facing rather than “pidgeon hole” you in a text book category, pat you on the head, and say good luck. Really an extraordinary talent.

I just wanted to let you know this cardiologist is utmost amazing.. My uncle is one of his patients, and I wasn't able to make Dr. Rotations due to work.. My boyfriend and I we're entering the hospital, when he met the Dr. In the restroom to let him know what was going on "since we didn't meet rotations" Dr Houk was the most amazing person to let us know what was going on and not worried about his hours. My uncle will only believe in Dr. Houk even on his last days... Thank you Dr. For everything

This was my first appointment with Dr. Houk. He was very interested and caring in his review of my heart history. I felt so comfortable and at ease sharing with him my concerns. Dr. Houk is a kind and very intelligent Cardiologist: Taking time to explain in detail what is needed in treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Houk and would most definitely recommend him to my relatives and friends. His staff is very caring and helpful as well.
