List of Stephan Levitt's Reviews
Don't go to this doctor he doesn't listen to you. I went for a second opinion to clear up a rash as I had been using a cream that had not helped at all. I indicated on my paperwork what it was-told the nurse what it was and told the doctor. He only talked politics and never even got close enough to look at my rash! THEN he said he was going to order me a POUND of a cream that would help. I picked it up and it was in a bag...I never thought to look at it...it was a pound of the exact cream I told him did not work!! I told the management as I was so upset...all they said was they were sorry. I got stuck with more medication that doesn't work. Even emailed the doctor to tell him and he never even responded. GO SOMEPLACE ELSE!! I should have read the reviews on him!!
Explained things in an understandable way. Very pleasant! Did his job nicely.
When I had a different insurance coverage, I had two other dermatologists and after they froze my sun spots, I asked them about a skin tag. Both doctors removed the skin tags as part of the treatment. In other words, no addition charge. But, not Dr. Levitt, he told me it is considered surgery and would have to run it through my insurance. Bottom line, I still have the skin tag. I would change in a heart beat but, my insurance does not offer an alternative.
Went for "head to toe", due to lengthy history of skin cancer, doc came in, barely looked & said bye, not a complete exam by any standard, reluctant to go back but only dermatologist that takes our ins, so we are stuck
Helpful, insightful, careful, delightful. I'd drive the 45 minutes from my house in a heartbeat.
Dr. Levitt is a very kind and gentle physician. He takes time to listen and is very thorough. I would highly recommend him.
I developed guttate psoriasis and as soon as I realized something was wrong, I found Dr. Levitt. He recognized it right away, proscribed two ointments and within a short time, it was gone. He was kind, professional, and reassuring. I always recommend him to anyone who needs skin care. He instills confidence in caring for one's self.
Dr. Levitt is punctual and succint in his interactions with you. I had only a short window of time before I needed to be to work, and I was able to make it back with time to spare. I was seeking help with a cosmetic issue for which I was embarassed, and I found his matter-of-fact style quite comforting.
Dr. Levitt was our family dermatologist in Nashua NH and I still miss him - he is irreplaceable - I've been to several other dermatologists and none of them are as good as he is. Bradenton, Florida is lucky to have him. We miss him up here in the north!
Of course I was nevous and apprehensive about my visit to Dr. Levitt as I didn't know what to expect concerning my reason for being there. The receptionist made me feel very comfortable as she was very courteous and understanding for my nervousness. I was called in by a nurse and she took me to an examining room. There I was asked to relate my specific problem to her and she was very professional and considerate. Then Dr. Levitt came in and he made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Levitt and his staff are super and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. Thanks Doc and staff....your great!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
