Steven A Meckstroth's Online Review Report Card

I had high hopes for Dr. Meckstroth based on the reviews I read. Unfortunately, my experience with him was the worst experience with a doctor I have ever had. It seemed that he had decided what my cause of issues were based on one test before even letting me explain my symptoms. After TELLING me what I feeling he proceeded to pick me apart personally. This is a very closed minded and discriminatory doctor, do right by yourself and do not waste your time or self respect.

This was my 3rd colonoscopy by Dr Meckstroth.. He and his staff were wonderful as usual. They make you feel so comfortable and Dr Meckstroth has the latest technology and equipment. They all know you don't want to be there and they make you as comfortable as possible

Great doctor, nice staff. Very good contact prior to my appointment. Follow up was great.

Biggest issue is getting the correct prescription. Their electronic prescription dont work most of the time. Best bet is to get a paper script. Just double check it's written correctly, I've been given the wrong dosage before.

I was recommended Dr. Meckstroth for my first colonoscopy... The process from start to finish was impressive. The staff couldn't have been more thorough, courteous and highly knowledgeable in their field. Dr. Meckstroth and his Physicians assistant were very professional and made me feel very comfortable with the procedure. Premier Endoscopy center was as equally impressive. I would highly recommend. Also noting the one star review... You can't please everyone... Some people are happy being miserable.

Unfortunately both my husband and I use Dr.Meckstroth and are unhappy to say the least . Your made to feel to get you in and get you out and whatever procedures are to be done aren't and you are told by the Dr, we will get it next time. He really doesn't listen to your problems or concerns. Very unfortunate that you are made to feel this way from him and the staff also. But he was given some pamphlets to read on some of his conditions. Oh well

Amazing group! I had run into so many problems prior to being referred to Dr. Meckstroth. It started with the original clinic I was seen at being unable to properly fill out paperwork and forgetting to distribute my test results. Then an insurance company that seemed determined to not pay to cover my short term disability. I spoke to his people about this and was assured that no matter what it took my care was their focus. They were good at their word. Every ball that got dropped by others, they picked up and ran with. I didn't just feel that I was the priority, I was assured of it. I honestly don't have the words to say how highly I regard the doctor and his team.

When my wife and I relocated full time in the Fall of 2019 I was in need of establishing care with a gastroenterologist. Dr. Meckstroth was recommended to me be my former oncologist. I have found with my contacts that his care is excellent. He is effectively treated my autoimmune disorder and his doctor/patient communication is excellent. His nurse Carol has been great. She is very responsive and attentive to my needs. Her communication. In hindsight, I could not have made a better choice of a doctor and nurse!

Horrible and horrible experience with office staff. I had a routine colonoscopy. During the visit I told the Dr. I had stomach issues and getting my gallbladder removed. He billed my insurance as though I was seeing him for stomach issues. His office refused to recode the visit and sent me to collections. The nurse said "you can take us to court to resolve this issue". Horrible experience, stay far away from Gastroenterology Specialists and this quack PA. I saw a lot seniors in this waiting room and I have to wonder how many give up and just pay their erroneous bills.
