Dr. Neagu seems competent, but does not answer emails through his system, even for critical problems. I once sent him five emails about the same concern over a period of two months; in frustration, I finally went to his office (a 20 mile round-trip drive) and asked him why he never responded. He said he "never got them," then searched for my name on the system--there they were, unopened. His staff is just as bad. Most of the time, they don't answer the phone, and the answering service will not take messages. Unfortunately, there's a shortage of endocrinologists in our town, so I don't think he feels much motivation to change. From other reviews here, I see this is a longstanding problem that he's never bothered to fix.

Save your money who’s office is terrible they do not answer the phone let it ring and rang and rang several days when I finally got through they said they do it to the phone I left two messages I would like to know the test results never got any callback I cannot recommend this office

Dr. Neagu is a very knowledgeable and friendly endocrinologist. Before seeing him for the first time, I had struggled for many months with my thyroid medication and dose that my previous doctor prescribed. He switched me to another medication and dose and I felt back to normal within a couple of weeks. Highly recommend him.

Had an emergency. Needed prescription. Called office three times over three days talked to staff. They realize the seriousness, sent Dr. a message. But he never responded after three days! Something terribly wrong in this office

I liked him as a doctor but I have left 9 messages at his office regarding my blood work test results with no phone call back to me. Blood work was done 6 weeks ago!!!! I’ve never experienced this before……
