List of Amir Noorani's Reviews
My husband and I were patients of Dr. Noorani, he treated my husband from about 1996 until his death in 2009 and I saw him from 1996 and 2016. I moved to California in mid 2016. He is one of the best doctors that I have ever seen. He listens and explains everything in plain English. He is patient with you, so you feel that you are in good hands. He really cares for his patients. His Office staff was always very nice and helpful to my husband and myself.
Excellent service and care.
Dr. Noorani and his staff have been very helpful to me. When he recently did a procedure he did an excellent job and after he met with my husband and explained everything to him. On my followup appointment he had my results and explained everything to me and answered my questions. I recommend Dr. Noorani.
I have been a patient of Dr. Noorani for about 1 year. Today I received a message from his office that my upcoming appointment has been cancelled because I was in collections. Since I have excellent insurance and I hadn’t received a bill, I had no idea that I owed anything. When I called the office, they told me that I owed $14.88 from last year and I can’t see the doctor until I pay the bill! Instead of mentioning that I owed $14.88 at one of my appointments, (which I would have paid on the spot), they sent the bill to a collection agency and withheld medical treatment! Due to the poorly run, incompetent and unfriendly office, I am now looking for another pulmonologist.
I have never met a group of people who were so messed up and rude to boot. I have never been spoken to by medical staff in this manner before, they were rude, unprofessional, and uncooperative. Needless to say I cancelled my appointment with Dr. Noorani before I even got there and cannot recommend to anyone.
Saved my life.
Very great doctors and the staff is amazing as well.
While the appointments have been fine the follow up is the worst. Don't bother trying to call the office. You will be put on hold indefinitely. I have been waiting two weeks for test results and when I finally did get to speak with the receptionist, they just said someone will call you. I explained that I am considering switching doctors because of constantly being put on hold with no one ever coming back to answer, she could not have cared less. No apology, didn't phase her in the least. I guess they have enough patients that losing some doe not hurt them financially so they just do not care.
Dr. Noorani assisted me in getting better quality sleep. He noticed during the sleep study that the Veteran Administration had my CPAP set to "On Demand" which woke me up several times a night. His office helped me get a new machine that had setting better for my health through a company that was right for my insurance. His medical team were professional, friendly, and helpful. He also noted other sinus problems that were correct and treated. I can now sleep a full night and awake feeling refreshed. I went from sleeping 2 to 3 hours a night to 6 to 8 hours. Thank you Dr. And Staff.
There is no follow up ever from the staff. They sure billed my insurance company quickly for a test. Over a month, I call weekly, am put on hold for long periods of time only to be told someone will call me back. Over a month now. Not a call, no test results, and never an apology. I am thinking about disputing this with my insurance company so they pull the payment back. The worst experience...I just keep calling and they just put me on hold and never have an answer for me about the test.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
