I have been seeing Dr. Bharat Desai for 3 tears now, and I feel that he is the best PCP that I have had in the last 15 years. He listens to what I have to say, and with me, that's not easy. With him it's straight talk, no beating around the bush, He will always answer question honestly. I trust him! His staff is A1, you couldn't find a nicer, more understanding, patient group of people at any other office.

at one time he may have been a good doctor but those days are gone. He is rude he is condescending he does not listen to his patients and he does not order appropriate diagnostic testing. Twice I ended up in the hospital due to his arrogant negligence a patient who was new to him statements. Medical receptionist dictates what treatment will be done Without speaking to Dr been refused to recuse himself from the case once I was admitted.

He wasn't concerned about my problem enough to listen and said women experienced these things. I'd been experiencing this for some time and needed someone with understanding. I was very disappointed in him.

I basically lived in the hospital In Tampa from 1998 til 2003 with copd, asthma. When the bill Medicare part D past. I found Dr. Jain and then Dr. Desai because Dr. Jain no longer took my insurance. Dr. Jain was an excellent doctor. But since I've been with Dr.Desai Out of many doctors he is by far the best doctor I have ever come across. He listens. He acts upon what symptons are told to him. And with his care I NO LONGER LIVE IN THE HOSPITAL! I live as healthy as a life as I can because of him. He is a blessing.

My husband has had advanced lung disease (COPD and acute asthma) for many years. Dr Desai prescribed an older medication for my husband that none of the other pulmonologists tried. It has made a huge difference in his quality of life. Further, this doctor has expressed caring and professionalism we have not seen with other doctors. He is personally connected, responsive, kind and very knowledgeable.
