My mother saw Dr Sanchez for an annual eye exam. He told her she had 20/20 vision and didn’t need glasses. She hasn’t been able to see without glasses for over 50 years. I asked him to do a refraction. He dialated her eyes first so she really couldn’t see by the time he tested. He still insisted she had good vision while her visual acuity is 20/200 which is far from normal. We had to go elsewhere a pay for a second appointment as insurance covers only one a year. Horrible experience. Don’t waste your time and money.

My mother saw Dr Sanchez and he advised her she had the start of a cataract in one of her eyes. She casually remarked that it was the first time she had heard of it, not meaning anything by the remark. He became verbally abusive, thinking she was questioning his diagnosis, which was not the case. He wanted her to leave and abruptly left the room. He either needs to work on his people skills or perhaps think about getting on some medication. No I would not recommend this doctor.
