Lisa Vendeland's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Vendeland is the best OB/GYN I have ever seen! i’m so grateful she is a part of my birth journey. She is compassionate, down to earth, treats you like family. I highly recommend her!

I went to Dr. Vendeland for a birth control consultation. Her attitude was incredibly condescending and judgmental. I was relieved there was a nurse in the room so I could make eye contact with someone every time Dr Vendeland made an unhelpful comment - it made me feel less stranded in this situation. She does not give out correct or current medical advice, and assumed I had not read medical journals because I was 'so desperate to get birth control.' I would certainly not recommend her, especially if you are a young woman.

Dr Vendeland mis-diagnosed my infection (and subsequently mistreated me with the wrong medication) for 6 months after the birth of my first child. Not only was I in severe discomfort but her vaginal exams were very rough and she showed absolutely no acknowledgment or even compassion of my painful reactions to her exams - nor did her nurse. It was absolutely bizarre. I finally went to another OB and got correctly diagnosed and treated with the proper medication. Dr Vendeland lacks compassion and her nurses follow suit. The only good nurse mid-wife she had left her practice. I would not recommend her to anyone.

I was her patient for 4 years. She always rushed through our appointments and never did a single breast exam which is required. She also would have a snippy attitude and sometimes I even felt judged. I am a nurse and I KNOW this is not the way to treat patients. She also never notified me or other patients when she moved locations or that she sold her practice to Florida hospital a couple years later. She never educated me about medications or got back to me with lab work.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Vendeland. I was a wreck when I called her office, with the symptoms I was having. They got me in right away even though I was a new patient, and it was a wonderful experience. She is the most sympathetic, compassionate doctor ever. She is my doctor for life. I don't usually write reviews but I choose by them and thought it was only fair to let someone like me know she is the best choice. You will be glad you did. The whole staff is wonderful.

I was very happy with her until I became pregnant. Everything was fine until week 19. I was sent to a specialist for my anatomy scan and that's when my pregnancy went from normal to high- risk. She let the specialist take care of the situation. Unfortunately, I lost my baby. Dr V never called to check on me. When I went for a follow up appointment, she was very cold, insensitive, and dismissive towards my many concerns and anxieties. The nurses were more compassionate than her. Such a shame.

Dr. Vendeland is a wonderful doctor. You never feel rushed, she takes the time to Listen to your problems. Her staff is great.

Dr. V. Has been my dr. for 11 years. I am 77. She is excellent. I would recommend her to my best friend.

Dr. Vendeland is the reason I have my son... she is excellent.

Is more concerned with 'insurance coverage' than concern of patient. Quite unorganized, doesn't listen or respond to questions, rude and disrespectful. Very easy to get appointment, now I understand why...low patient volume.
