If you do not have any issues he is the doctor to see, if you have a complex problem like I do he wants to send you elsewhere, it was a total waste of my time and copay , would not send my 4 legged boys to be seen by him.

He was highly recommended to me, I was not impressed....he had me so confused saying so many different treatment plans within a matter of 3 minutes, not one of them was followed through. He wanted my records from my former GI where i used to live, the entire chart was sent to him, nothing was ever done, he wanted to send me to see another GI in another county, I said no, I came to see him. My visit and copay was a waste, I wouldn't send either of my 4 legged boys to see him.

I recently moved to New Port Richey and an Internal Medicine doctor that someone recommended to me referred me to Dr. Gonzalez. At my first visit I requested the name of a new PCP doctor from Dr. Gonzalez, as I was not satisfied with the doctor I had already seen. He refused to recommend another PCP since I was recommended to him by this doctor. Once I did find a new PCP doctor, Dr. Gonzalez again refused to see me as a patient. I was told if I wanted my records it would cost me $1 per page. I did pay for the information and I am glad that I got the information because there were several errors in his history notes about me and my family history. Lot's of carelesses! I would not recommend this office. Front office staff seems to ignore patients when they enter the office and make then stand there for several minutes witout any acknowledgements.
