Rekha Bhoomi's Online Review Report Card

There's a pattern here. I really wanted this doctor to work for my mom, but she's consistently late for appointments and doesn't seem to follow up with her patients. My mother has recently had some medical issues and this doctor totally dropped the ball on her care both leading up to the problem and during her rehabilitation. Most recently, she canceled two appointments in a row, then left town for two weeks, so essentially my mother has been unable to get in to see her PCP for a MONTH when she's needed care. We're moving on.

I was reviewing these reviews with a friend who I am referring to Dr. Bhoomi, and I am amazed at the negative reviews. I have been seeing Dr. Bhoomi for 4 years now, and I have never had a problem with her or her staff. The staff is always helpful and friendly and Dr. Bhoomi spends more time with me discussing my concerns then any MD I have ever visited. She always gives me ideas on natural remedies rather then medications which is always appreciated. I recommend her to all my friends.

Please avoid this "doctor." Useless. Does not care about patients. Can't leave the room fast enough after avoiding questions.

Did not care about my husband no bed side manners! if she even comes !! her husband comes he was okay.. never returned calls she would just say he needs to be in nursing home..especially when i tried to find out his condition first thing she would say he needs to be in nursing home an he was in a nursing home that is how much she checks on her patients never once saw my 66 year old husband when he had to be placed in nursing home.. !! PA from nursing home took care of everything!! she told me she didn't want him to be her patient anymore cause it was bringing her status down with the state!! i would no recommend her at all!!

My mother went into the hospital with vision problems. She ended up having emergency brain surgery. She was diagnosed with a large mass in her head and several on her lungs. She need a referral for a pet scan. Due to the urgency the pet scan was scheduled but she needed to get the referral asap. She was looking for a new doctor because her original primary would not send her to a neurologist to have her issues addressed because he didn't feel it was necessary. (That was before the emergency brain surgery). She made an appointment with Dr. Rekha Bhoomi. Mind you she just needs the referral. Dr. Bhoomi told my mother that she could not help her or be her doctor because my mothers issues were too complicated for her. That is what a referral to a specialist is for. Very unprofessional. She also told my mother that she could and would not recommend to anyone else. My mother is on Medicare insurance so finding new doctors is a huge process. She will miss her pet scan now. HORRIBLE!!!

Dr bhoomi very well versed and very caring. She is a good listener and compsssionate.

Excellent, caring professional Dr Staff is great too

My father has been a patient for years. He has been complaining of pain in his stomach and right side for a while, now. This doctor dropped the ball. She has not sent him for any imaging to investigate this matter and her staff advised me it could take 3 weeks for a referral or prior authorization. The office staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. It is obvious they do not care about their patient's lives. I took my dad's health into my own hands and had him see a different doctor. Conclusion, my father has lung/liver cancer that has to be followed up on immediately. Thank you Dr. Boomi and staff.

Most caring doctor nit have ever been too. Always remembers my prior complaints and worries. Takes her time on each visit. Would recommend her practice to everyone

Her office staff seems to be lacking a professional atmosphere. Also had problems making my 1st. appointment. I'll let you know what happens.
