To bad, they will not accept new patients without their prior medical records. :(

This was the pediatrician that checked on my baby in post-partum at MCOT. My daughter was born at 35 weeks, but as healthy as can be and at a normal weight for her term. We told the staff we wanted to be discharged as soon as possible, regardless of what time pending her positive consistency with all the testing. Our midwife came in to let us know that everything was great and she would be working on getting our discharge information done to leave after the 24 labs and check up were completed. Immediately after, Desai came in, did not introduce herself, and said we were absolutely not leaving tonight before we even said anything to her. After inquiring why, she explained that they had to continue to monitor and test her for jaundice periodically to make sure she was staying consistent due to being delivered pre-term. She left a bad taste in our mouths but we decided to play it safe, despite everything looking great. After our wonderful nurse took our daughter to get the 24 hours lab work and check up completed, she came back with everything looking good and that the only thing she would be bothering us for again was to get my wife's blood pressure In a few hours. They did not need to "continue to monitor" for anything else. This doctor cost an additional 14 hours of time (and lord knows how much in additional medical expenses, hint hint) that could've been spent at home for virtually NO reason. Needless to say, we found a better pediatrician for our daughters future.

I love Dr. Desai! She is a great doctor! I also love how they have Saturday appointments as well.

they're always saying nothing is wrong. I have gone here for 7 years but my son's started going and I feel like they just want their money I had an appointment today I was telling them how concerned I was and nothing was wrong but we're sitting at the hospital and He's being treated for an infection they are great people but I don't think they have good service s I am changing my son's doctor

I always did like the doctors at A-Z peds. I have been bringing my daughter there since she was born. 4 years later, I am seriously considering switching doctors. They are starting to be lazy and are taking their diagnosing lightly. We are always returning now her sickness would be worse. I am tired of being told that she is fine whens she gets worse. The staff is awful! What a miserable bunch! They make comments like, "She was just here" and they scoff at parents. How do these people have jobs? I don't get it!

In the beginning, I thought that they were very well. Lately, I've noticed that they are not aggressive enough and are treating things lightly. If my daughter had a rash on her skin, I would hear, "Just put some vaseline on it" Not bothering to examine her to find that she had severe allergy. I had to keep taking her back because problems aren't being fixed and the staff treats me like an over barring crazy parent.

Dr. Desai is so great with all of my 3 children. She takes extra time to talk with us and really shows concern if there is a need for it. She is very professional and I can't say enough good things about her!!

Dr.Desai is very professional and a considerate doctor. Not only does she care for the children, she also gives then step by step directions on how to get better. I also know that she is very careful with children since she has two of her own. She is what you would consider to be a family doctor.
