List of Shaun R Young's Reviews
Dr. Young has removed wisdom teeth for 2 of my daughters. He listens, explains & answers any questions at the evaluation appointment. He is very kind & did a great job! For the person who wrote that they thought their son did not need sedation, apparently they never had wisdom teeth removed! That is just absurd! Mosaic gives you an option of an injection that prevents them from having to prescribe pain meds, I guess this person declined this option as it is an additional cost. I found their review to be full of untruths! I highly recommend Dr. Young!
Dr Young and his team were amazing. I cannot say thank you enough for the great care they provided!! They explained the procedure and compassionate during the procedure.
My son had 4 wisdom teeth extracted. He recommended sedation because that way "(the doctor) does not have to be careful when extracting teeth." He also said that "we don't have room for wisdom teeth" rather than evaluating specific situation with my son. Hearing that from the doctor, my son opted for the extraction and sedation because that it what the office recommended, but I really don't think he needed either. The office also prescribed opioid for pain, but I think my son would have been OK without it. Either that or the doctor was so rough that it ended up causing pain. I checked the reviews of other doctors who do wisdom teeth extractions (especially periodontists like Dr. Mathew Waite and Dr. Robert Michaud), and most of the time, they do not require sedation. Patients also do not experience enough pain to require ANY medication. I think Mosaic 's practice is to get through as many patients as possible for generating profit, which results in rough procedures and pain.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
