List of Sreenivas Vangara's Reviews
My brother has Cerebral Palsy and now has a feeding tube. My brother is in the hospital because the area where the feeding tube is in is now infected. Dr. Vangara came to the hospital too see him even after my mother had asked not to have him see him because he is a horrible Doctor. Dr. Vangara proceeded to tell my Mom my brother is fat when anyone can see that he is swollen not fat. His feet, legs toes are so swollen you can not move his toes but he keeps saying it is not swelling that he is fat. My brother has always been slender never overweight. He Checked his feeding tube and tells my mom he will not change it because it is in the correct place and nothing is wrong with it then proceeds to burn the skin around the tube with numbing it. My mom once again requested another Doctor and Thank God today another Doctor came and the feeding tube is out of place and leaking the feeding he gets and that is the reason for the infection. He is now having surgery to have this fixed. How can Dr. Vangara be so heartless. My brother can talk so of course he can't express his pain. He was having fevers of 107 like what is wrong with this Doctor. I do not recommend this Doctor to anyone especially anyone with a Disability.
Just had my endoscopy/colonscopy done with Dr. Vangara and his staff. Exceptional care, compassion, and the utmost in professionalism and kindness. This small and private facility is quiet and comfortable, and every staff member makes you feel safe and well-cared for. As a medical professional myself, I know what it takes to create an environment like this for patients. I am so appreciative of the doctors and staff who made this experience so easy and stress-free! THANK YOU!
From the get-go after confirming my appointment two days prior and a 2-day fast upon arrival they insisted I had no appointment that my appointment was booked by someone else with the same name and birth date. The man preparing me for insertion was rude and in a great hurry told me to roll over on my side and hurry up I explained I have back issues I have to turn slowly or experience great pain says he you'll be feeling a lot more pain if you don't hurry up! On my return visit for results while Dr vangara was telling me I had cancer we were interrupted three times twice by a staff telling him other patients were waiting in other rooms once by his wife who he argued with over how to pay $100 bill left little time for me to answer my questions he became visibly upset when I asked him my options had no more time for me.
My Medicare PCP referred me for a colonoscopy to this doctor. I have called the number at least eight times over the past month and 1/2 and every single time it rings no answer, and then the message comes on saying mailbox full try your call again later. If they can't handle their communications better than this, I don't want to trust them to put a pipe up my butt!
2 hours of waiting to be seen only to be told to lose weight which I would take under consideration except I'm already an avid lifter and hiker. 3+ days later and still hasn't filled my Crohn's medicine.
Dr. Vangara has the habit to book too many appointments for the same day and makes the patient wait at the lobby for more than 3 hours with the excuse of "I had a couple patient earlier with issues". But he comes out every couple of hours to say "I been moving along since I have been doing 10 to 11 procedures per hour. Most of the patients are over 65 years old and it is not logical to have parients over 65 years old waiting over 3 hours just to be checked in. This Speciist needs to better manage his appoitment schedule time and not focus on taking too many patients in order to have a bigger check from all medical plans. This is not the 1,2 or 3rd time that it has happend and I only had 3 appoitments with this Dr Vangara and always is the same excuse. BOARD OF MEDICAL DIRECTOR needs to investigate this issue since its the patients that suffers.
I would HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND Vangara. I am a 21 y/o female, (20 at the time) and I went to him several times for abdominal pain. I explained to him the pain occurred whenever I ate greasy fatty foods. I went from weighing 170, to 120 pounds unintentionally in 1/2 months. I expressed to him my concerns with my gallbladder, since that's why my primary care doctor referred me to him. In the months I saw him, he told me to continue to eat high protein high fat food to gain weight. He kept reassuring me my stomach pain was "anxiety". I told him eating the fatty foods he told me to eat hurt me over and over again. He ignored my concerns. He told me to eat the fatty foods with high protein or I wasn't going to gain weight or get any better. He did not preform any tests, other than bloodwork, which wouldn't have shown gallbladder inflammation to begin with. I told him I was concerned with my pain, and so was my mother. He demanded I bring my mother in for my next appointment so he could dismiss her concerns. It turns out that whole time I had an inflamed gallbladder, as confirmed by the pathologist results after surgery. Every time I ate the foods he told me to eat, it was making my gallbladder worse. He refused to preform tests, and instead advised me to eat the very thing you are not supposed to eat with gallbladder inflammation. I ended up having to be rushed to the emergency room due to this pain, due to having gallbladder attacks. It was the worst pain I have felt in my life. If Vangara once listened to me, or my pcp who referred me there, I could've changed my diet - and potentially saved my gallbladder. Even if my gallbladder was not able to return to normal function, I would've not experienced pain every time I ate. My surgeon stated that with gallbladders, there is a way to improve gallbladder function with the correct nonfatty diet. The complete opposite of what Vangara advised me to eat. I believe "Doctor" Vangara is one of the reasons I had to get my gallbladder removed. He does not care for his patients, ESPECIALLY his younger patients. I cried several times in his office due to the pain, and he only made it worse. I am disgusted that he is still allowed to practice medicine.
Caring and compassionate
Dr.Vangara is a excellent Dr.,the procedure was quick, his office is very professionally equipped, his staff very professional, caring and friendly, even after the procedure I received a courtesy call to make sure I was okay,I highly recommend Dr.Vangara and I thank them for the care I received
Office staff very friendly. Dr. Vangara was so nice and friendly. After the visit he showed me around the office where he does the procedures. I was blown away with how friendly and loving he was. Eased my mind and just a very caring man.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process.
