Fast, friendly, treated for sinus infection, good provider, will be back
I work in the medical industry, I can honestly say from the staff, to the physicians, their patients are first priority! I was very impressed!
Came here because I was worried that I'd come down with e.Coli or food poisoning, but they dismissed my concerns. They treated me like I had Covid, tested me for it (despite initial refusal) and sent me on my way. As suspected, I've waited 3 days to confirm what I already knew "that I'm negative" and still recouping from whatever I had. Literally what symptom isn't a Covid symptom that I'd come here to get treated for?! You guys and all doctors need to start being broader.
Front desk staff is dismissive, rushed. Husband was seen for a cough & wheezing >2 months. Requested X-ray. Had already tried a course of antibiotics without relief. No X-ray ordered. No testing ordered. Sent out with RX for albuterol and steroid and diagnosis of asthma. Yet, no actual testing done. Once in to see Dr, it was a rushed visit. Staff bringing in patients was rude.
Women checking people in was so rude and obnoxious and treated sick people horribly. Her name was Sandy. Clearly no one wants to be here and people need a service that this place provides. So if you don’t want to perform the service close the doors and go find another job. I’m a healthcare worker and don’t treat people this way. This is unacceptable behavior.
We went to get COVID test and on Saturday and asked them how long it will take to get the test back, and they said 2-3 days. We didn’t get the test until now and when I called, they said to be patient because the test just left the office on Monday. They didn’t inform us that day one will start on Monday. This’s a healthcare provider office and they should be more honest. When people go for a test, meaning that they’re worried and waiting is more stressful, but for sure it’s more about more money for them. I won’t recommend them.
I was referred to this Urgent Care by my PCP to receive a workup after experiencing some abnormal symptoms after 16 days COVID-19 quarantine no fever, which is considered past point of spread. I was interrupted midsentence just as I began to respond to the front desk at the first mention of COVID, rushed outside, and told that I needed to go to the ER, to tell the ER that I was experiencing shortness of breath to be seen sooner. I understand the concern regarding COVID-19 spread, and I was referred to this location by my doctor, but the response was humiliating and completely unprofessional. I wasn't given an opportunity to explain at all, and to be given the recommendation to falsify symptoms for faster ER treatment is not appropriate. It would have been a better experience and more understandable if the staff member had atleast expressed some level of patience and compassion, even outside because I can respect the necessity of safety precautions, but we were rushedly and fearfully dismissed. That is not an acceptable way to handle a medical practice, and for that reason I do not recommend Suncoast Urgent Care.
Do NOT go here for anything especially COVID-19 testing. They are very unprofessional and give you the run arounds. No phone etiquette and horrible customer service skills. I got tested somewhere else and the results came back literally within 2 days. I’m still waiting for the results from here. They have no urgency here. Will NEVER go back here!
I went back to Suncoast Urgent Care yesterday due to a lot of pain on my left foot.I could hardly walk and no one on their staff offered any assistance. The technician who xrayed my foot just stared at me while she had me raise my injured foot on the xray table. No assistance either when she had me walk from the examining room to the xray area. The medication prescribed did help me overnight and today I have an appointment with foot specialist.Loud laughter outside the examining room was somewhat annoying but it might have been because I was in pain.A few patients were not wearing masks in the waiting area and talking on their cell phones.
Very courteous and professional staff. Most definitely will be my place to go as needed.Treated very well with compassion and kindness by Sandy and Angel.Thank you so much Suncoast!!
Been here twice on a very simple urine sample for employment. Twice I've waited well over an hour and sat and watched how others who checked in after me were serviced first. Lab corp and even Quest is 100% times better. I hate this place.
The worst I’ve ever seen. Between the front desk help who did nothing but eat the entire time I waited to get blood drawn, to the fact they made me wait 1.5 hours before telling me they couldn’t do it because the insurance company approved the bloodwork, but didn’t approve a visit? Seriously? How would you draw blood without a visit? In the parking lot. Absolutely horrible place. The girl with the long dark black hair? She’s in serious need of an attitude adjustment and perhaps a course in empathy. She’s rude. And. The place is dirty too.
I called this urgent care to ask a question, but was put on hold several times. I waited for at least 10 minutes. Please don't go to this urgent care.
Took my wife in for care. They gave her a shot and send her home with an RX for more meds. The meds didn't work. When I tried to call them back, they never answered the phone for over 15 minutes straight and no one would answer the phone.
Not much of a sense of Urgency for this Urgent Care. I was sent to this location for a pre employment drug screen and I've been waiting, uncomfortably, to provide my sample for over 45 minutes.I would be less irritable if the gentleman who had come in a few minutes after me for the same reason (UDS) with no paperwork and a bad attitude hadn't been called back before me (especially considering I had all of my documentation prepared ahead of time). I suppose the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
