Zahid Akram's Online Review Report Card

Doctor was dismissive of my concerns & just didn’t listen. He was very impersonal. My prescriptions weren’t sent in & 2 weeks later I’m still trying to get the correct prescription filled. They keep insisting that the pharmacy substituted it & now I have to waste gas driving to their office to pick up a paper prescription to “prove” to the pharmacy what was sent in. Every time I call I am on hold for a minimum of 10 minutes. I will be looking for a new doctor because this isn’t working for me.

This Dr is horrible. Always over books and it takes more than an hour just waiting to be seen. They have also rescheduled my last four appointments over the last two years. One of them was rescheduled twice.

This office is all about the money and does not care about the patient. Do yourself a favor and find another office.

Dr. Akram shows genuine concern for my overall health. Although, I went to him for sleep apnea, he talks with me like a primary care doctor. He takes time to explain everything in detail. He is very up to date on the latest medical findings and happily shares them. He is a huge proponent of a healthy diet and shares tips for both. His staff is always friendly. My wait times have been short. I’ve read some negative reviews but haven’t experienced anything negative!

Dr. Akrim is extremely knowledgable in his line of work. Easy to talk to and very approachable. Super impressed with his calm demeanor and guidance for my specific medical issue. It's not everyday you find Doctors in the Tampa area that actually care and take the time to do a proper consult. Great staff, on time and this was a very positive experience. So many providers out there that rush you in & out and are obviously in it for quantity not quality. Highly recommended!!

Very thorough And knowledgeable.

My pcp didn’t know why my breathing & sleep were so bad. Dr. Akram figured out the problem & worked out an action plan for me & new meds. He keeps digging until he finds the problem. I knew he could help. Best pulmonary & sleep doc I have had. Sometimes wait times are long, but, take into consideration the types of patients he treats. Your appointment is as long as it needs to be to help you.

I felt that Dr. Akram was very direct with me, showing me my CT scans and explaining what I was looking at. He took his time and listened to what I had to say. He was very thorough with his questions so as not to miss anything. I appreciated his honesty and have taken to heart his recommendations towards a healthier lifestyle. I honestly don't know how anyone could give Dr Zahid Akrim a bad review! I have seen him 3 times this year. He has, each and every time, taken his time, listened to me with interest & intent, did a thorough exam, ran the appropriate tests and followed up exams were in complete detail, leaving me with no questions and completely informed! In addition, the girl at the desk is ALWAYS polite, helpful, even on the phone! I would and do recommend them 100% without hesitation! Tammy K.
