Doctor Heath is amicable and listens well, but his office is unorganized, receptionist is very rude and the nurse doesn’t return calls. I was postponed over 4 hours for a procedure, after a couple months I was having difficulty swallowing and tried to get a follow up. They didn’t return my call and when I called again they told me 4 months for an appointment.

Took friend for 9:00 appointment for colonoscopy. Sat for 2 hours before she was called back for procedure.

I called and made an appointment and was told it would be 2 months before they could get me in. My appointment just happened to be the week that we had a major hurricane. No one from his office called me to cancel my appointment. They day before the hurricane, I drove to the office and the doors were locked. When I called a few days after the storm, the lady that answered the phone did not listen to me, and said they had called me, was extremely rude and hung up on me. I called a second time and she hung up on my again. I called a 3rd time and got someone different, and she said it be Feb(4 months away) before they could see me. I had heard really good things about Dr. Heath and was looking forward to seeing him, but after the rude staff which was inexcusable, I will not be seeing him. I asked if there was office manager and was told there was not. He may be a great doctor, but his staff was some of the rudest people I have ever encountered.

Only giving three stars. Because whoever runs the office and makes appointments. Is very rude, and disrespectful. My mom has been in need for an appointment for months. And nothing. Whoever answers gets very impatient and sounds like she's being bothered. I can't believe my mom has yet to get an appointment. Dr. Heath is amazing but whoever's in charge of appointments is very rude. I don't understand why the rudeness. Sadly my Mom's gonna have to find another doctor.I wonder if Dr. Heath is even aware that this is going on.

Been a patient for years. Had my colonoscopy and scan in esophagus every 2 years. Received notice I missed appointment in January which I never received a reminder call but at that time I was fighting to save my husbands life. Now I have a severe case if diverticulitis, am in much pain, running a high fever. Office informs me there is nothing the can do. ..not making appointments for 6 months out..go to the hospital!!!! Will never recommend
