It's always great to come see Dr herdel

Dr. Herdel is a physician that spends time with me who is very thorough with my physical examination and lab analysis. I feel very relaxed and comfortable in his presence as well as an engaging conversationalist of whom I have a wonderful rapport with. I highly recommend this 5* physician. David Wachsman

Dr. Herdel is a physician that spends quality time with me reviewing all lab data as well as any questions or concerns I may have. I highly recommend Dr. Herdel for thoroughness, demeanor and congeniality this is why he is my favorite all time PCP.

I ain't going to lie he's a good doctor if you got money. Otherwise he's just like the rest it's all about the money. You call with the problem they say they're not accepting any more patients at this time like everybody else. Despite if you have history or not.

Best doctor in New Smyrna Beach, hands down. His staff is truly the best

I've seen many doctors offices over the years and I was always switching because they either " didn't know what's wrong" or passed it off as nothing, so they weren't helping me. Ever since I started here I've had nothing but a great experience. Wait is always very short and they give 110% off compassion and want to rule out worst case scenarios. My husband sees Samantha and I see Jennifer. We discuss how it always sounds like the same person because they're both so thorough and wanting to eliminate anything serious first and foremost. I've never seen Dr herdel but I'm sure he's just as good because I can tell he hired these girls with a certain criteria to meet.

I met DR Herdel over a year ago as a client referral from a mutual friend. I had gotten severely ill while traveling out of country. After returning home i spent 2 months in pain and sleepless nights.i called DR Herdel and he was kind enough to see me the next day. After the exam he explained in terms i could understand my situation. I took the prescribed medication and with in 24 hrs i felt like a new man. It was the 1st day in 2 months that i slept well and went to work all day free from the pain that i was sure was killing me. If only i had made the call to his office 2 months ago!! The staff here is 1st rate and the care i was given was nothing like i have ever had from ANY doctor. EXCEPTIONAL almost does not even serve as enough praise for him and his staff. I am no longer afraid of calling a Dr.thanks to Dr Herdel. I wish i could give him and his staff 10 STARS!!!

Dr Herdel has been my PCP for 17 years. As a Registered Nurse I believe I have a valued opinion about Medical Care/Physicians due to my 23 yrs of experience in the medical field. Dr Herdel has a better bedside manner than any physician I have ever known. His genuine care and concern for his patients is obvious in his interactions with them. He is down-to-earth and is so easy to talk with "About Anything", Even the most delicate topic/issue. He truly "Listens to you", almost unheard of these days. With that being said, he does run behind sometimes, but I go in knowing that and am perfectly fine if I have to wait some....Good things come to those that wait. His knowledge, skills, empathy and respect for his staff are all second to none. After all of these years I can honestly say they have "ALWAYS" fit me in if I become ill. I also cannot say enough about the Staff. Again, they are ALL so kind, respectful, patient and accommodating, which is also traits of the past.

I have been a patient for 15 years. His staff is efficient and courteous. Dr. Herdel often runs behind schedule because he takes the time to listen to what his patients say. Just call the office before your appointment and find out how far behind he is and adjust accordingly. I've never had a problem with this since the office told me this is the best way. Dr. Herdel is knowledgeable, kind, personable and caring.

This is not a good Doctors office at all. The office manager is rude and does not tell the truth. Dr Herdel does not call his patients back. Have asked over and over. Still waiting to be called back. Each staff member gives different reason why. He does not care.
