Took a week after my surgery to follow up, but even there, it wasn’t to check to see how I was doing, but to make sure I was going to make it to my next appointment to get my staples out. They never prescribed me anything for the pain or even sent me home with fresh bandages. I had to instead rely on friends and family for anything stronger than the aspirin and Tylenol they felt would be enough. Don’t even get me started on having to be intubated for a simple procedure!! A week and change later and I still have a sore throat and difficulty swallowing. After my conversation with the office about my issues with pain and the lack of medication I was assured a prescription would be sent into my pharmacy. Never happened. Still overdosing on Tylenol every day, instead.

Dr. White repaired a crushed ankle, and I could not be more happy. He does not give false hopes and tells you facts. I respect that. I want the truth when I see a doctor, and the truth he gives. Thank you Dr. White. At 71 years old I did not expect great results. He produced them anyway. I would trust him with any other orthopedic problems.

Heard him talking about pts outside of room while I was in exam room waiting, rude and disrespectful. Didn't feel like he cared or really listened to me regardingmy pain. He charted in front of me wasting my time. I went to him becuase everyone else didn't have open appointments for over a month and now I understand why he was available, I will never go back to him.

Very understanding of my problem he was the 3rd orthopedic doctor I went to I will never go to one in Daytona Beach took me 2 years to find Dr White in New Smyrna Beach to know what was wrong with me and I had a hip replacement two years ago thanks to him I don't have any pain and I can walk.

My sister from NY, fell fx her shoulder and arm, had surgery done by Dr white. She is back in NY has signed multiple ROI for.s to continue her care has called ofc 3x records still not sent to her Pcp or 1st visit to ortho in NY, this is delay in care unacceptable.

Dr. Gregory White - Orthopedic Surgeon - New Smyrna Beach I had an appointment with the Dr. and I must say I am surprised that a so called “Christian” healthcare provider works for Advent Health. He is the most arrogant, condescending Dr. with poor bedside manners that I have ever met and I am 72 years old and have been to lots of physicians over the years. This man is no Christian as I have been around Christians for years in church and other places and he shouldn’t be working for Advent Health. I would like to know how Advent Health hires men like him who basically seems to like trying to humiliates his patients? I had shoulder surgery 10 years ago in South Carolina and the shoulder has never been right since them and I am in pain all the time. Dr. White said to me “You’ve been in pain for 10 years and you wait this long and you expect me to fix it?” What a total jerk he is!! I told him a surgeon in Virginia in 2019 told me that I needed scar tissue removed and or a shoulder manipulation under anesthesia. I’ve had several surgeries since then and have had to wait to have anything done on my shoulder because of the other surgeries and of course with COVID going on for 2 years many surgeries have had to wait. I had cervical surgery in 2020 and I had kidney surgery in Jan 2021. He said you come to a small town physician and looking to get this fixed and you shouldn’t be here as if I was trying to get someone to fix it because none of the physicians in Virginia would do it. That is totally untrue. My wife and I moved here to Florida this year and so I decided I would make an appointment with an Orthopedic Surgeon here to look at it. I waited over an a month for the appointment and never dreamed I would be seeing such a jerk!! This has really colored my opinion of Advent Health and although both my wife and myself are seeing a Primary Care Doctor through Advent Health, I am not sure we want to stay with Advent Health. I have seen other reviews of this Dr. complaining about the same thing, arrogant, condescending and poor bedside manners. Basically he said go back up to Virginia and let one of those surgeons work on you. That is what I intend to do as my son is director of surgery for Inova Medical Center a 1000 bed hospital in Fairfax, VA. with 50 surgery centers. I have had surgery there 2 times and the surgeons there would never talk to their patients the way he talked to me! It is about time Advent Health talks to this man and tell him that his attitude and condescending manner towards patients needs to change and have a more “Christ like” attitude or go somewhere else where the organization doesn’t claim to be a “Christian” organization.
