John Yee's Online Review Report Card

Dr Yee always spends a lot of time with his patients and makes sure to get to the bottom of each problem and issues. Plus he always follows up and it shows he really cares.

I came down from Indiana to help my sister who has kidney failure. I thought our doctor office's were bad, the incompetency of the staff in the New Smyrna office is off the chart. They are unprofessional, lack of communication is missing, and if you want a call back, better plan on waiting a few days. She has waiting MONTHS for a referral for an orthopedic surgeon, for knee replacement. She fell 3 times just the first 2 days I was here, because her knee is so bad. My sister and brother in law, both say the doctors are great, but the staff, doesn't care at all. If a nurse makes you feel like you are a waste of their time, they definately picked the wrong profession.

I left this practice in Daytona Beach because of defaming referral for another doctor due to a doctor's unexpected death Never met him and his name is on all my rxs that I had while a patient Turn over is high so every other month there's a new provider. The place is awful since the manager, Patty was sent to the deland location who doesn't accept humana. They have outsource telephone call to a foreign country. Therefore, there is either no answer, no return call from left message, or major language barrier. They lost two good people which was Patty the manager and Kelly Dogget, Arnp.

I am writing about the DeLand office. Its horrible, they never answer the phone and I have needed refills and they are "out to lunch". I am leaving this doctor and going to a group that answers the phone!! HORRIBLE!!!! I will never recommend this office to anyone. On several occasions I have requested lab work that they will not do and it has to do with my thyroid. Ridiculous, they don't pay for it. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM???????????????????????????????????????

We interviewed Dr Luong while pregnant with our daughter and appreciated the respect we were given for our choices of natural home birth, no vaccines, breastfeeding, and hands off medical approach. Dr Yee & Dr Luong are very well educated in all areas of medicine. They do the doctoring for you rather than asking you to play doctor with the famous question "well what do you think we should do". We have seen Dr Yee & Dr Luong for 9 years and wouldn't be able to trust another doctor to meet our family needs. Although we rarely go to the doctor, knowing the office is open late and on Saturdays gives us the peace of mind that our immediate needs can be met. Danielle is the office rockstar and we appreciate her attention to detail and care in handling our family needs. I thank Jessica too for her assistance in meeting our family's needs.

Great group that meets all my families needs

I would highly recommend him. Dr. Yee is patient, knowledgeable, and caring. He has great recommendations/advice. He has never forced me to be on medications or exercise. However, he makes sure you know how important it is that you do. There is some waiting at times. But spends a lot of time explaining things. I'd rather wait and see a good doctor than to see a doctor who rushes you in 10 minutes. Dr. Yee has moved but does come back to see his patients. I won't change doctors and will wait for him. I could always see someone else in the office if he is not there and I am sick. I am trying to convince to him to come back more often.

I would highly recommend him. He is patient, calm, knowledgeable, and caring. He has great recommendations/advice. He doesn't force patients to be on medications or exercise. He does make you understand how important it is though.

I've been a patient of Dr. Yee for quite some time. And I'm glad to be with him.
