My son used to see Dr Carithers as a child and he is a great Dr. You are in good hands. One of the best.

Dr carithers is by far the best pediatrician around! He cares for my children like no other doctor I have ever seen. My children's insurance unfortunately , does not cover Dr. Carithers, but it is worth every penny to see a doctor who truly cares about my boys. Over the past several years, we have always been able to get in the same day for a sick-visit,he has continually called to check up on the kids after any sick-visit, been available on weekends and even holidays, promptly returned calls even at 3am, etc.....I can not say enough good things about Dr.carithers and his staff! I have come across a few people who were not a fan of dr.carithers, but I feel like they just wanted someone who would agree with them. He will give you his honest, medical opinion, in a professional manner. He is very respectful and is open to discussion. He does wear ear muffs when he gives the kids shots....I always thought it was clever. :) He is definitely a good old-fashioned doctor. :)

My 17 and 14 year old children began seeing Dr. Carithers as infants, he is caring, and so very thorough not enough time to write all of the times he has been there for us and has gone out of his way to care for my children he had literally saved my sons life in 2004. After surgery Dr Carithers was in at 7am before opening his office to check on my son - the surgeon that preformed the surgery did not come in until after 1pm. Dr Carithers had no intention and did not charge for this visit - just wanted to check on my child. To put it simply we love him!

You want to talk about a good old fashion doctor that cares for his patients as if they were his own...this is the doctor for you. I have never met a doctor that has been so thorough with my child. He sees them on the weekend of need be. He calls at night, in a week, or even one month later to check up on a child. He will even take time out during the holidays to check up on a child. How awesome is that? His Staff is definitely out of this world!!! I have never met such nice girls as the ones in this office. I would have to say that this office is truly like family. I would drive miles upon miles just to go there.
