1St Choice Urgent Care Center's Online Review Report Card

Had a drug screen done here a couple weeks ago and it was simple and did not take long. Today 11/14 - I had to get a physical done. Even though there was a bit of a wait for the doctor to get in, I will say that the staff was professional and considerate about the situation; which I did appreciate.🙂 Also, everyone was kind and easy to speak to. Thank you for a good experience, the past two times I’ve been in!

If I could put a negative star they'd get it. If your going to be in the health profession you should have a good attitude about helping folks. And know your job because your dealing with people's well-being. For this facility, whoever does your hiring, you all need to do way better or your facility should be shut down. I'm looking through this facility's reviews and something isn't right with this many bad reviews. I'm quit sure its the people there hiring. Do better or close down, this is ridiculous. I'm looking into further actions against this place.

Got sent to first choice by va since I live more than forty miles away from local va. My foot was hurting so arrived at the clinic. People were nice and asked if I could come back in an hour which was fine. Then nurse said you need to go to x-ray which was about 5 more miles away. Figured they would have x-ray to look at that afternoon. Found x-ray location took about an hour then headed back to first choice where I waited in waiting room for about 45 minutes and close to closing time for doctor to finally come in. Looked at foot asked what x-ray showed, "oh won't get results for several days." Been two weeks and after calling last week being advised they would call as soon as the x-rays came in but guess nothing to see. My whole afternoon was a waste of time and should have just went to va about 10 minutes further than x-ray lab. At the VA you see doctor, go to x-ray come back to doctor and look at x-rays. Still wondering why Doctor didn't look at foot first if they knew they weren't even be able to see x-ray. This was the first and last time to try visit to non VA facility. Three hours to see doctor for 15 minutes With almost no one in the clinic all the time I was there.Nice folks but not very professional.

Don't pretend to be walkin, can only make appointments over the phone when I'm unable to speak, and not available for 3 more days.

Worse place ever, please avoid going there, the staff are rude, and raciest, I made an appointment for my mom, when she got there they didn't want to see her just because she does not speak English.

I had an appointment for 4pm. I arrived and the doors were locked. I looked up online when they close it said 6pm. 4 other people behind me went to go inside and they were all confused why the door was locked. I called customer service no answer. If patients have appointments they should not be closed. Also the close time was not on the door nor an explanation of why they closed early. At least call me ahead to tell me to reschedule. This is unacceptable. Don't ever come here! The staff here have an attitude they can care less about patients.

For your health, DO NOT go here because this facility is so incompitently run you may die before anyone at this facility cares! My husband and I was seeing our Primary care there and had follow ups that got rescheduled and then we're told our Dr was no longer there without any warning! I have a serious health issue and now am looking for a new Dr. This place would schedule us then you were tied up for 2hrs trying to see the Dr also they were allowing her to bring in rescue dogs to the facility that was so unsanitary can't believe that they can even run a medical facility like this! I could go on and on but it's not worth it please just go somewhere else that is safe and that you can trust because this is NOT that kinda place!

Very long wait, very few patients at the time and not a peak visit time. Was misdiagnosed and took 45 minutes to give me a test result when I was told it would take 15. When you are feeling poorly this stuff matters. Won’t be going here again.

I had to go to First Choice last week for respiratory issues. I actually got in and out fairly quickly. I was surprised. They gave me a follow up appointment for today at 3pm. I arrived a bit early as I always do and there were a few people waiting. Those people eventually were seen and some others had arrived. After the original people were seen, the walk ins started to be seen while I still waited. At 4:10 I gave up and left. The girl at the front desk couldn’t have cared less and did not even offer an apology. She didn’t have a clue what she was doing. As a matter of fact, when I walked in there was no one at the front desk and for almost a half hour there was no one there. While the PA here is nice and seems very competent, they have a major issue with how they serve their patients. This urgent care is going to cause someone to die with the way they do business. I will ever go there again.

My first question at the desk was "will I see a Dr" the receptionist said yes. Then said oh well she's a PA, so the real answer should have been no you will not see a Dr., the provider heard the conversation and came around the corner HOLDiNG A DOG!! And said I did go to 4 years of medical school, answer is still NO. Not happy that she was carrying a dog around the clinic , have a feeling that's against Health Dept rules! According to her it's ok since it's a private clinic, don't think so! The provider was extremely unprofessional, accused me of not letting her speak when I was trying to explain my situation. She was rude and insulting, didn't want me to say one word . As a 36 year health care provider myself I always listened to my patients, she missed that lesson in PA school. Worst health care experience ever, walked out. Stay away!
