Did my wifes' cataract surgery, problems developed shortly after and concerns blown off by ruttig. Now being seen by Professionals at Eye Center South. Another surgery is possible to clean up the mess. Know more in a few weeks.

I chose Dr Ruttig to do my cataract surgery. I picked the right man for the job. Best staff at office and hospital. You can not get and better then this Doctor.

Visit was very rushed, most of my questions were not fully answered or glossed over. He doesn’t like or recommend any of the premium lenses that are available to correct both near and far vision. Instead all he want to implant are the mono lenses which still leave the patient wearing glasses. Maybe he has not kept up with all the great advances that the premium lenses offer or he just takes the easy way with the mono lenses that Medicare pays for in full. He also wants to do both eyes within days of each other which doesn’t seem right.

Absolutely professional!! I am a Medical Assistant. I was so well cared for by all that works in this group including Twin Cities Hospital. I loved loved my nurses. What a positive experience and I now have almost perfect vision for distance since cataract surgery! Excellent surgeon, extremely competent techs etc.. thank you to all that assisted in my care, especially Dr. Ruttig❤

First and foremost, I want to give a 5 STAR KUDOS to the doctor and each member of his staff for enforcing safety procedures in that help prevent the COVID-19 Virus from spreading. This is also extended to patients by requiring each to wear masks when entering the office. With each appointment, I not only received a warm welcome, each assistant displayed a very positive attitude, both of these contributed to making me feel comfortable and at ease. When with the doctor, I received the necessary explanation of procedures, tests, diagnosis and pre/post op care in a way that was understandable to me. I was also given time to talk about my concerns or ask any questions I may have had. Dr Ruttig also made me feel at ease. He, too, maintained a positive attitude. Dr Ruttig and his staff are blessings for which I will remain eternally grateful, yes, thanks be to our FATHER.

Dr. Ruttig and his staff are amazing! I had cataract surgery done to both eyes and am thrilled with the results. He provided excellent care both pre and post surgery. His office staff excel at kindness and professionalism. I cant say enough good things about my experience.

Dr. Ruttig and his staff are wonderful. Everyone is polite and helpful. They made me feel valued, willingly answered my questions, and responded very quickly to any concerns I had. I will definitely use this practice again.

Dr. Ruttig performed cataract surgery on me. His staff was very professional and kind. Dr. Ruttig explained the procedure. He called me the evening of my surgery to ask how I was doing. This was a great experience and I really liked doctor and staff. I highly recommend this doctor and will definitely use him again.
