Performed my appendectomy, after which I was bedridden for weeks with an infection. Found him indifferent and uncaring. After dismissing my concerns, he finally offered to perform an exploratory surgery to find the problem, but I was reluctant to undergo another procedure with him. I went to another provider who quickly found and fixed my problem.

Dr. Hruby performed umbilical hernia surgery. The whole experience, from my first visit with Dr. Hruby, through surgery and all post op care was outstanding. He answered all my questions and concerns never rushing our visits. He has a caring and professional office staff, and I had no problems scheduling appointments. I highly recommend Dr. Hruby.

My wife needed intestinal surgery. The first two recommended surgeon were booked for many months, so Dr Hruby was recommended. We met with him in his destin office. He came across as arrogant to me. He did the surgery, and said he got it done. I stayed with my wife in the hospital as she has very high anxiety. Right off the bat he denied her anxiety medication. On the 3rd morning he came in to visit with a smile on his face and began berating my wife and threatening to remove all her medication. Said she shouldn’t need anxiety medication and definitely shouldn’t need nausea or pain medication any longer. He also changed the medications she’s been prescribed and has taken at home for years. This man is obviously a good surgeon based on how many years he’s been around however the way he takes to his patients is criminal. I definitely do not recommend him for anything honestly.

Dr.Hruby and his staff are nothing short of amazing. I’m so thankful to be in their care! If you are in search of a surgical oncologist in the Florida Panhandle, Dr. Hruby is one of the best.

Dr. Hruby and his whole staff was amazing with my daughter Madalyn! She has autism and is 18 years old. They handled her with care and it was a great experience! I cannot recommend him and his team enough! He will be our go to surgeon in the future!!!

A very friendly staff, and Dr. Hruby was personable and knowledgeable! I usually dread visits to Doctor's offices, but Dr. Hruby and his staff made me feel welcome and cared for.

Mmm why do dome people say he is good and others don't..is he a good doctor period not good to see negative reviews. Period and to have some say ohh he is the best ?? but yet others don't 3.7 doesn't sound like a complete doctor.. inless ur rich. nobody cares how bad they treat you its all about money and how much he can make off of you ..so which is he a good doctor or not????
