Stephen T Enguidanos's Online Review Report Card

I can't thank Dr. Eguidanos enough for fixing my back. I was sent to Dr. E from a major surgeon in the Pensacola area who did my two previous discectomies. They had failed and he no longer wanted to do the type of fusion that required a hospital stay so he sent me to Dr. E. He recommended a lumbar fusion of the l4/l5 and l5/S1. I am here almost 1 year to the day removed to give my thanks! All of my back pain is gone and the fusion appears to be a success. To Dr. E, Stephen, His imaging nurse, and even the receptionist thank you. You all helped end a 10 year struggle on my part and I will always be appreciative.

Dr E was referred to my by an ER Doctor. I called 3 times and have left 3 messages and received 0 returned phone calls.

He performed spinal fusion surgery on what is essentially my entire back. His staff at his office is so helpful warm and caring. Lisa is an absolute angel. I did a lot of research before I chose him. He was one is a few doctors that would do the surgery for adult scoliosis. My surgery date was in May of 2017. Dr Enguidanos was very friendly and explained my problem and the step we were taking to correct my problem with my spine. If I ever had any question before or after surgery when I called Lisa was always very prompt to call me back and help to ease my mind about the questions I had.

Dr E as he is referred to, in two separate surgeries, replaced three discs in the lower lumber, four level fusion along with decompression of the spinal canal. Can't say enough good remarks caring, explanatory, and compassionate. Staff are friendly, answer the phone on most occasions, if not will call back.

Had an apt— after an hour and 15 min, he was a no-show.

We have nothing but the highest praise for Dr. Enguidanos and his staff!Dr. "E", as he is known, is a very personable and extremely capable surgeon. He performed four surgeries on my wife. The last surgery was an 8+ hour procedure, which fused T11-S1 vertebrae, partially straightening a scoliosis curvature, and addressing a previously botched fusion attempt which was performed by one of the "more well known" spine surgeons in the area.While my wife has not fully healed from the recent surgery, we are already seeing positive signs of improvement. Pain meds finally knock the underlying pain out. Previously, her pain meds barely reduced the pain and only for a brief period.Through four surgeries, we have experienced a wide range of Dr. "E's" diagnostic and surgical skills and can truthfully say, there may be other surgeons in the area who are as good as Dr. Enguidanos, but there are NONE who are any better!We offer Dr. Enguidanos and his staff our strongest commendation!

Dr E has done several back surgeries for me. Could not ask for a more kind and compassionate surgeon. He never is in a hurry. Ready to address all of your questions and concerns. I have recommended Dr E to everyone I know who needs an evaluation. He is never ready to “just cut”. He believes that physical therapy should be tried first. If for no other reason than to have you in the best physical shape possible prior to surgery.
