Stephen Enguidanos's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Enguidanos is a great surgeon. I just had my one-year, post-surgery visit and have had a strong recovery. I required 2-level lumbar fusion surgery after a 2-month, anti-biotic treatment for spinal infection. Dr. E. was very thorough and never in a hurry. He listened to me and discussed MRI’s and X-ray results in detail. He was very methodical and did not rush to surgery. My surgery prep care at Twin Cities Hospital was incredible. The folks in admin and pre-surgery testing and prep were great and helped me through everything. On the day of my surgery, the surgery check-in administrator, pre-surgery prep team, and post-surgery care team were nothing short of fantastic. Dr. E’s follow-up plan with x-rays to check bone formation around the fusion, for a full year, reassured me that my fusion surgery was progressing well. For a small-town hospital and community, I believe I had one of the best spinal surgeons and surgical teams I could ever have.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE-ignore any reviews not a 5. Have seen tons of drs and none come close to Dr Enguidanos!!! Only ortho you ever want you use. Would give 20 stars if an option. Love, love him and grateful for him. Would buy him a beach house if could. Best doctor ever. Saw him in hospital. He put cement in crushed discs and cracked pelvis. First time in forever can stand up straight and pain gone. Quick recovery. But the most awesome thing is the way he truly cared about me. I was in hospital several weeks for other reasons and he stopped by everyday he had surgery. Had a problem with nurse and mix up of meds. He listened and said he would address it and quickly got new nurse-meds back on schedule and improved. Have been in and out of hospitals for 8 years. Never treated with such compassion as from him. Normal routine is the dr visits once usually while still groggy and never see again. I have no support system so his visits meant more to me than he even knew. Kindness flows from his spirit making me feel safe and knowing he actually cared. Didn’t just run in and out-as said no other dr has come by more than once, but listened patiently. He cared, not just about surgery progress but about me. Such a blessing I landed in his hands. I was in constant pain with numbness and tingling all over. I am pain free but it was the kindness and feeling he truly cared that makes him the most awesome dr ever. Wish he could teach this to other doctors who lack even an ounce of compassion. I wasn’t just a number to him and he conveyed that to me with each visit. He even removed bandages to check if healing properly. I could write a book about him. A blessing straight from God. I have been treated by so many cold non-caring doctors. BUT HE IS AWESOME AND WHAT HE DID FOR MY BACK WAS A MIRACLE FOR ME. I can finally see light in my future. Sure another dr could perform same surgery but the fact that he cared, which emits from him the second he entered my room, makes him the best Dr anyone could have. See him immediately and change to him immediately. You will be forever grateful. If I could buy him a beach house I would.

Great surgeon. I would and have recommended Dr. E to others. He is caring, explains everything, listens to you and I totally trust in him. All if the office staff are helpful and personable. I have had two different back surgeries by Dr. E. I will not hesitate to go back to him if need be.

I went to Dr E after another doctor messed up my neck. He was able to remove everything the 1st doctor did and fixed my neck up . I feel so much better. Now. I have always been treated very well by him and his staff. Would not hesitate to refer a person to him.

I am absolutely SHOCKED by these negative reviews on Dr Enguidanos and his staff. It’s almost as if the reviews are not even for them. I was referred over to him by my pain management and primary dr. And I have been super pleased with my progress (currently still progressing) and the attention to my particular issues. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, thorough and conservative in his decisions. Explains exrays and other images to me till I totally understood what was going on with my entire spine from my neck to the tailbone . The office staff has been awesome, they get busy and sometimes you have to wait a little while past your appointment time but that’s part of being a doctors office and being a busy doctors office. I’m pleased how promptly they get back with me when I’ve had questions. So anyone reading these reviews remember there is always 2 sides to every story. I think and believe with my whole being that they are an answer to prayer for me. I’ve lived in pain most of my adult life and finally got brave and decided enough was enough. I’m so thankful for Dr Enguidanos and his whole staff!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

I have been a patient of Dr Enguidanos for 13 years. He is not only the best in his field but a very compassionate doctor. You never feel rushed. He gives his best advice and possible outcomes and is truthful with you about your exact situation. I highly recommend him.

I can't thank Dr. Eguidanos enough for fixing my back. I was sent to Dr. E from a major surgeon in the Pensacola area who did my two previous discectomies. They had failed and he no longer wanted to do the type of fusion that required a hospital stay so he sent me to Dr. E. He recommended a lumbar fusion of the l4/l5 and l5/S1. I am here almost 1 year to the day removed to give my thanks! All of my back pain is gone and the fusion appears to be a success. To Dr. E, Stephen, His imaging nurse, and even the receptionist thank you. You all helped end a 10 year struggle on my part and I will always be appreciative.

He performed spinal fusion surgery on what is essentially my entire back. His staff at his office is so helpful warm and caring. Lisa is an absolute angel. I did a lot of research before I chose him. He was one is a few doctors that would do the surgery for adult scoliosis. My surgery date was in May of 2017. Dr Enguidanos was very friendly and explained my problem and the step we were taking to correct my problem with my spine. If I ever had any question before or after surgery when I called Lisa was always very prompt to call me back and help to ease my mind about the questions I had.
