Had a broken hip since sept. Never took an exray. I would not take a cat to this dr. Never on time never returns a call and doesn’t believe a pt has pain. Made me say I have no pain. It is march 2023 and my hip is broken, I’m going to holy cross now. I wouldn’t take a cat to him. He needs compassion and go back to school

⏲️ This guy doesn't seem to know how to keep on schedule which is very rude inconsiderate to his patients - seems to think the world revolves around him - patients don't have anything else to do but sit around and wait for him to get his act together. I'm really not sure what's going through his mind. 🙄 We've been here a couple of times now and the guy always seems to be running late. ⌛If you care about your time and I want to be treated right, then you probably should look elsewhere. There are about 20,000 orthopedic specialists in the Miami area.

THE WORST. Horrible follow up. Actually NO FOLLOW up post surgery and after experiencing numerous complications. Extremely long wait times at office. He’s always late. He does not return phone calls. Only His PA would get back to me even after I’d ask to speak to him directly and only after days and weeks of pestering with multiple phone calls and emails. Two years post surgery and my foot is worse plus a huge nasty scar. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I just love it how he took all the money, and wouldn't see me until he knew exactly how to charge me, but didn't bother to care to find a reason to my pain! Love that! Oh! and I also love that I gotta make an appointment, but I still gotta wait 2 hour to see him; can someone tell me what the appointment is for?

Waited for over 1.5 hrs and finally left. Doc was nowhere to be found as I never heard his voice. I mentioned at the front desk that I had to leave for another appt and said “Doctor is nowhere to be found right?”. They replied with “He’s in the back.” If he were in a Surgery I’d understand, but that didn’t seem to be the case. I hate to go to doctors that have zero regard for their patients time.

Went to see Dr. Lewis because Dr. Koonin retired. Dr. Lewis’s appointment receptionist is aggressive and rude at best. If your able to survive the appointment process, overall the Doctor’s bedside manners is good. It took His nurse practitioner 5 days to return my call, then gave me a pain medication I was allergic to after repeated assurances I wouldn’t have an allergic reaction. Made a decision to find another Doctor because the anxiety of making an appointment and his staff isn’t worth it.

Dr. Lewis' bedside manner was stellar. In the case of treating my foot, my experience was positive. He took care of my pain in about 3 months. I had gone to other orthopedics but they were not able to cure my foot. I highly recommend him.
