Ira Levine's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Levine is a great ophthalmologist. He gives me great care whenever I see him. I would highly recommend him to anyone that is in need of an ophthalmologist.

Dr. Levine is very understanding and thorough in his practice. I help bring in a patient who has mobility issues. First of all, the staff is always very accommodating and kind. There is minimal wait but when there is a delay you know it's because Dr. Levine takes his time with every patient so you know to expect the same when it's your turn. If he sees that there's an issue, he will make sure to address it as soon as possible. For example, my patient needed to have a B-scan done. This is not something that can be done immediately because a specialist has to come with a special machine they wheel into the office in order to perform this test. I'm not sure what Dr. Levine did on his end, but in a little less than two hours the specialist was at the office ready to perform the exam. Your eyesight is very important, something that most people overlook because eye health is not as heavily promoted as dental or skin health. But Dr. Levine will make sure that you are where you need to be so you can continue to enjoy your eyesight for years to come. Also, you can tell that he cares about his patients, otherwise I feel he would have retired by now. A family friend has called him outside of office hours before because she was scared about her eyesight since she had flashes of white suddenly appear on her sight. He answered and told her to come in first thing tomorrow morning and he was there to check on her as he promised. Dr. Levine is one of the best doctors I have had the honor of encountering.

Dr Levine is a great ophthalmologist. The best bedside manner I've ever experienced. He is thorough and explains everything with great detail. His staff is professional and friendly. Highly recommend.

Well Dr. Levine may be a great ophthalmologist, but when someone is recommended to a doctor by Mount Sinai one would expect when you need to see that doctor on an emergency basis that they would try and work you into the schedule.… Not so with Dr Ira Levine calling for three days now not a prayer… I’ll have to find a different ophthalmologist

Dr. Levine is the best of best! He will listen carefully to my problem! Taking all the time needed to resolve the issue. An emergency! Call, and he will tell me to come in immediately!

You will not find a more competent and compassionate eye doc! The office staff is equally as wonderful. Our whole family goes here. Grandma had very successful cataract surgery. Can’t say enough, just go.
