I had a reverse shoulder replacement performed by Dr Howard Routman about 13 years ago. It was the result of a severe accident. My rotator cuff was destroyed, and my shoulder was seriously broken.i had little hope for ever achieving good mobility in my right arm. As the result of a superior surgery and great support following the procedure, which included many visits and prescribed Physical Therapy, my mobility is great! I am a well functioning 79 year old woman. The professional and kind care I received from Dr Routman and his entire staff, especially the Physical Therapy team have contributed greatly to my well being. I resumed my very active life. I recently returned to the office for a check up. I was again treated with the utmost care and professional courtesy. I will forever be grateful to this wonderful surgeon and his staff.

Dr. Routman is a gem of a surgeon and a human being. He performed a reverse shoulder replacement on my right shoulder a few months ago. I have recovered beautifully just as he anticipated. He takes his patients’ concerns seriously and was always available to see me. Too, his office staff is superb. He is a find in the morass of the Florida health care system. Elaine J
