Will never go to this doctor again. Didn’t solicit information about my symptoms. Didn’t even do a physical exam! I tried to politely tell him about my issues with pain in my upper leg and some of my thoughts about it and he appeared to not think my opinions were of any value. He told me what he was going to do - cortisone injection without even discussing it with me. I didn’t even get a diagnosis of my condition from him - had to ask the nurse! Was also there for about 3 hours for what should have been 30 minutes. I would never go back to him.

I had 2 visits and waited 1hr 45 minutes to see dr first time and 1hr 30 minutes 2nd visit. I saw him maybe 5 to 7 min each visit. Will never wait in that office again.

Have known Dr. Cooney for over 20 years. He is patient, a gentleman, and listens. His education and experience are exceptional. Highly recommend!!

Concerned about Surgery/X-Rays and not the patient's arm/shoulder. Doesn't look at the arm/shoulder. Doesn't move or flex the arm/shoulder. Doesn't ask if there are any problems. On top of it all, has the worst nurse possible. In constant pain, and she says that it is "in your head." That is only the beginning.

Dr Cooney is an excellent surgeon. He is caring, concerned and listens to the patient. He operated on my shoulder, relieved pain immediately and surgery was highly successful. Dr Cooney will be my surgeon for a total hip replacement in January 2021.
