Excellent staff and physician. Caring, empathetic and prompt. Went thru several physicians here in FL before finding her!

After a year and half with Dr. Cefalu, I must say she is far above any other general internist that I have ever used. And in my 75 years of life there have been many. She asks the right questions and sends me for the right test to not only take care of my health questions, but also for conditions I did not think much about. She is pleasant, which is always nice in a doctor, but thorough and always up on the latest in medical research. I hope she cares for me in many years to come.

Reading some of the reviews here, I find it hard thinking we are talking about the same doctor. I am 74 years old, have worked in a hospital and have had a number of general internist over the years. I find Dr. Cefalu to be incredibly comprehensive finding health problems that I never complained about. She always spends enough time with me is outgoing makes sure I understand any issue. He staff also is fine and they have called me several times to check on any issue I may be having.

At 74 years old, I have been to enough doctors to know their qualities. I can easily say that Dr. Cefalu is the best internist I have ever had. She is comprehensive and has found several issues without me complaining about symptoms. She is straight forward but friendly, always making me feel comfortable. It seems she has made her staff in her image, following the standard she has set.

I just had a new patient visit with Dr. Cefalu and she was amazing. I just needed a routine check up but she really dug into my past medical records and recommended some important follow up care. It was a pleasant, enjoyable visit. She spent a long time with me and I never felt rushed. I would highly recommend her.

I wish all doctor offices were like Dr. Cefalu and her staff! She is a very caring doctor, takes the time to explain things in detail for the patient to understand, is thorough, and believes in follow-up and follow-through. Her staff is caring, courteous, professional, and efficient. Highly recommend this office.

Dr Cefalu and staff are always very kind and courteous. She seeks out your problems and finds resolutions to your health issues.

Very impersonal and very judgmental. I do not choose to vaccinate against flu or pneumonia and there was a definite attitude. there are things placed in my permanent medical record that are not based in fact. She is cold, particularly if you have a differing point of view. She's everything that is wrong with our world right now.

Horrible. Sits on her computer the whole time entering codes. Very impersonal. Every time we went in she acted like it was our first time seeing her even though my entire family was in her practice for more than 3 years. She didn’t request the correct bloodwork for my daughter and now after seeing a new pediatrician, who did the correct tests....we are being referred to a genetic counselor for a possible degenerative muscular disease that she completely missed in my child!!! Stay away!
