One star is a bit generous for this review. 11 year old girl for a single finger x-ray had to be there for just about 5 hours! Come on SMH, you have to do better than this. It's 2021! I took her in just after the school. Please parents if you need to do the same please feed your loved ones before you check them in. From 11am till 10 pm my girl had no real food today. The worst of all is the feeling we got that NOBODY cared for how long we will be there...5,6,7,8,9,10pm....1,2,3 am, who cares! Treating anybody like this is not human, let alone 11 year old kid.

I was in emergency on sat nov 6 with severe back pain . I was crying . No one was in lobby . Just me . Dr Mathew’s see me in 20 min . I told her they I had a surgery and my back hurts since then . She said we have no radiology today and gave me a shot that did not helped at all . I know she was not telling me the truth cause they offer radiology services . They send me home . I went to fawcett hospital er and othe did cat scan and blood test and turned out that o have a pinched nerve and herniated disk and sciatica . And Refered me to surgeon. I’m this er the only lock o had was Dr Erica. I will newer comeback to this cruel er doctors who absolutely don’t care

I visited the SMH North Port ER today and was completely impressed by my entire experience. Check in was quick (I was having some intermittent chest pain). The technician (Dotti, I think?) who started my monitoring and placed my catheter was awesome - she was friendly, efficient, and made sure that I was comfortable. The RN and MD were knowledgeable and had a great bedside manner, setting me at ease and keeping me updated as results were received. I was in and out in roughly two hours after a full heart workup (no problems found), and the whole experience was much less stressful than I expected.I was a bit nervous after reading these online reviews, but my family has always had good experiences at the main SMH campus so I decided to give this location a try. I'm so glad I did! We're relatively new to the area but will definitely use this ER for any future emergency needs.

This has been the worse experience of my life. I brought my son 8 years old with fever and abdominal pain we came in at 11am and they have done all testing results were back 2 hrs ago everything was fine and we were told we are just waiting for discharge paperwork and its been waiting over 2 hrs for the discharge and I’m still here while writing this review. He hasn’t ate anything or had nothing to drink since and this people don’t care, they’re attitude is nasty and when you ask for something they get upset. Horrible service, don’t let them steal your money. Let another hospital steal your money as well but at least get better attention.

I would not recommend this facility. They misdiagnosed, and sent home to die.

Waited 2 hours just to get called back. My paperwork said I needed to be seen immediately. Stayed another 45 minutes in the back room before I said I was supposed to be seen immediately. The doctor came in and was great. Nice personality and made me feel at ease. After another hour of waiting after he left, the nurse came in, I told her are they not doing blood work like my paperwork says? She said I don't have anything from him to do so? I said well here is my paperwork again. I need all this done for my employer. There is not barely any people in here just in case anyone was wondering if the were busy. No. Got here at 9:45 am and still not done. Over 4 hours altogether, for something that is to be seen "immediately."

I have been there 3 time or 11 years . The most resent 9/5/21. They were always professional . Most times in and out in hour to hour and a haft. Thanks Dr. Brookshine and RN Lynn .

Unfortunately, I had to visit the ER, but they were super helpful, professional, and made me feel at ease. They took care of my issue quickly and got me on my way! I hope I don't need urgent medical attention in the future, but if I do, I'll go here. Based on my experience, I'd highly recommend them!
