Dr.Wu is compassionate and caring towards his patients. Especially Tami and Luisa their amazing !

Dr. Paul Wu is the most caring and compassionate physician under pain management at holy cross hospital. He has treated me for over 15 years. I have recently received a new Stimwave Stimulator implant in my lower back that has assisted me with some of my lower back pain from nerve damage, due to MS, fibromyalgia, neuropathy, and other nerve problems from my lower back down to my feet. Dr Paul Wu is the best out there in pain management, and anything new that might help treat patients in relieving their pain problems. His staff and the nurses in his office are also , the most pleasant people that Holy Cross has to offer. I will miss them greatly due to a move out of the area and I wish them the very best.

Dr. Wu helped me through degenerative lumbar disc issues, spinal stenosis and grade 2 spondylolis. He helped identify the nerves that were issues and provided excellent remedies… until spinal fusion surgery was my only recourse.

On my first visit to see Dr.Wu, I arrived 15 minutes early, was promptly brought in to exam room where I sat for the next 2 hours. I was repeatedly told he would be in shortly. On my 2nd visit today, I arrived 15 minutes early, was promptly brought into exam area again. After waiting 30 minutes a nurse came in to review paperwork. I explained my concern about my prior visit and that I was not going to wait that long again. She stated it wouldn’t and he would be in to see me after another 30 minutes( similar to last time). When I questioned why an hour later again, the response was “he’s a specialist, you should expect this”. Frustrated with that response I left. Office manager did apologize however they don’t seem to value the patients time.

It was a long wait to see him. Once I made it to the exam room I was treated by Dr. Wu with excellent care, and respect. He delivered a lengthy explanation of the cause of my pain and answer all of my question. I was scheduled for a procedure to help with my pain. I left satisfied it was worth the wait. I definitely recommend Dr. Wu!

Unprofessional, rude doctor who Discriminates against patients .

I came to see Dr. Wu as a new patient after my orthopedic surgeon retired. I was hesitant because I had been to two pain management doctors before Dr. Wu, and was not happy. Dr. Wu was very patient and reviewed my MRI and CT reports and then made his recommendations. I went back for a procedure for injections to treat my bursitis in my leg, and again for a procedure for injections to treat pain in my rotator cuff. Both of these were done with assistance of ultrasound and Dr. Wu actually showed me the fluid which was bursitis, so that I became part of the process as opposed to having something done to me. This past weekend, I had a flareup of radiculopathy in my leg that was very painful, but luckily, I had an appointment on Monday to see Dr. Wu. I didn't realize it was for a follow up on the prior injections and not for a procedure. Although it wasn't a procedure day and although he could not do the procedure that he did previously, he asked me to wait a bit and then gave me trigger point injections that relieved my pain. I am so grateful for Dr. Wu, and Cesar and his staff are great as well.

I'm a new patient to early to say, good communication Dr Wu explains everything clearly. *************************************** 10.26.22 UPDATE: I went to Dr. Wu for an epidural yesterday. When I got home I iced it in the area of pain as the staff had requested (I've never been a fan of icing I like the heat) surprise surprise the ice was very effective pain relief in full effect. Thank you not to mention I had a good night sleep I have not slept 6 to 8 hours straight in months. thanks again . wait there more I woke up today feeling no pain so got up to make coffee. I'm happy to say so far so GOOD! Your staff is amazing from the time you enter the office till you leave its smiles, politeness and professionalism Thank you. Today I'm going to visit my daughter because I can pain free. I can keep going, really am happy with my progress. 😊😎
