He was the Dr who treated me when I was admitted to Ocala Reg. from the E.R. today. TERRIFIC BEDSIDE MANNER! FANTASTIC. CARING. SENSITIVE TO MY NEEDS & UNDERSTANDING. He made sure he went the extra mile. LISTENED, fully acknowledged & trusted what medical knowledge I felt of my own health issue. (The E.R. dr had been insensitive & talked down to me). Dr Khanna was also very sensitive to my financial worries, & made sure to get me taken care of very quickly so I could be released w/ minimal expenses. I thank God that Anish Khanna was the one assigned to me. As a result of his expert diagnosis & subsequent recommendations, I'm confident that I will be back to my old self very shortly. I'm an entertainer musician & was faced w/difficult breathing, severe pain in lungs & losing my voice. He was genuinely concerned for my needs. Dr. Khanna is absolutely wonderful & knows his stuff.

He was assigned my primary when I was admitted to Ocala Regional Medical Center. I saw him briefly twice during my stay. The second and final visit he scolded me, reprimanded me and said, "now don't ask me again!" Yep, that is how he spoke to me. All I asked him was something for pain. I was admitted for severe chest pain and hypertensive crisis. My two previous admissions were for a cardiac stent and a stroke. Than to boot, the nurse came in and said your discharged. I was shocked! He ordered double my my blood pressure medication to take when I went home not even asking me how I tolerated the dosage I was currently taking. He got my discharge notes wrong as far as symptoms and meds and dosages. I was so sick when I left and bed ridden until I could reach my cardiologist. My blood pressure remained seriously high, still in crisis levels, I was shaking and still in pain. Folks this is what malpractice looks like!

Wouldn't recommend ever seeing this doctor, although he is from the hospitalist group. He has absolutely no compassion, it's obvious he couldn't care less about his patients! Dealt with him twice upon asking questions I was yelled at the second time well let's just say I complained for a family member about his demeanor and he threatened her by saying yes f anymore family or friends complain about him he will have them removed.... the patient has rights.
