Anwar Khan's Online Review Report Card

Stephanie, his nurse was awesome, and is the only bright spot of the practice; Dr. Khan and his support staff leave a lot to be desired. I had an appointment on April 4 and was not seen on time. I told Dr. Khan that I needed 2 referrals one for my knee injections, one for pulmonary for a sleep study. He has an astonishingly poor memory because I had to badger the staff for both, because apparently Dr. Khan didn't put anything in to the staff for me to get them. It took several calls for me to just get xrays and there was never any follow-up or referral done to see an Orthopedist after I took them ten days ago. I was told by the receptionist that a referral was submitted for the pulmonologist, the week before last. Now I find that my insurer has no record of the referral being submitted for pulmonary and the receptionist was extremely nasty on the phone with me. Unless you have endless amounts of time, patience & unlimited phone plan, I would seek treatment else where.

Dr Khan is my Doctor, through Freedom Health, and he has been for quite some time (years). He's a no nonsense, straight-forward, competent and capable Internist. I don't usually do "reviews", but I saw some totally absurd comments in a couple other "reviews", and felt compelled to drop this in the mix. I Strongly recommend Dr. Khan to anyone looking for, as we tend to say, a Good Doctor. I'm an older retired Male, with the usual maladies.

Dr Anwar Khan is one of the most compassionate & educated doctors I have ever been to. Dr. Khan is very thorough, if he has any concerns whatsoever, he will refer to a specialist for further evaluation. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Kahn and his staff are terrible people the only care about your copay. DO NOT LET THE GOOD REVIEWS FOOL YOU!!! He will only refer you to specific doctors and if you want to see someone else in your network he will refuse to give you the referral. Stephanie is the worst one out of them all she is the instigator and is demeaning and flat out retarded if you ask me she has no true medical knowledge. My Mother, father and grandmother will never ever be back to them again. My father was missed diagnosed telling him that he had "allergies" fora whole year and come to find out he has stage 4 lung cancer and is now in treatment thanks to a self referral to a pulmonologist. My mother needed to see a GYN specialist and he refused to give her a referral unless she went to the specific doctor he picked. Also she had an abnormal mammogram that went unnoticed for 3 months finally I got the report myself and I had her see a breast specialist and now needs a biopsy... They are just careless sorry excuses fro medical professionals!....

If I could rate a zero star I would. Do not ever go here. My mother was denied a referral for a specialist because Dr Khan did not want her seeing anyone else. They made my mother come into their office for them to deny a procedure that she desperately needs. Thankfully her insurance company is giving her the authorization that this terrible dr isn’t giving her. The nurse practitioner Stephanie is very rude, unprofessional and bullies patients into staying with them.
