Carlos Lopez Rubin's Online Review Report Card

It was so unprofessional! Everytime I had an appt. which was 3 or 4×. As soon as I walked n the door the door the receptionist with tell me you have no appointment today. And I would have my card and the recording on the phone the day before to confirm my appointment so she let me go in Dr Ruben seemed very standoffish. Then she would reschedule my appointment a couple of times and repeated to do the same thing I would walk in and she would say you have no appointment. Then dr. Ruben released me for an unknown reason. IDK if there might be a little Prejudice going on cuz the whole staff is Spanish and every patient that I seen when I would go there they were all Spanish I had not seen one Caucasian or any other nationality there. And the staff were unbelievably scattered brained and not organized they had papers all over the place didn't know what was going on it just was not a good experience at all. One more thing they would not let my fiance go back there with me which is very strange

Dr Lopez-Rubin and his nurse practitioner, Erica, always placed patients first. They treated their patients like they aware their family. Best providers in Ocala area.

This review is not about Dr. Lopez himself. I particularly believe he is a compassionate and caring doctor. I've been a paitant there since 2014. Up until June of 2016 I had insurance with a previous job and lost it with job change. I recently just beca me insured again. Chose to go back to his office. Today I called to speak with a nurse and was treated very poorly. Not very happy!

Zero stars. He lost privileges to an assisted living facility. Poor medication management with family member causing major ramifications, in my opinion.

I have been going here for almost two year's, for the most part they are very caring. However, over the last few month's I've been having difficulties getting the referrals I need sent out. When I call the lines are usually busy or no one answers, this is frustrating. I am now left to suffer and the understanding doctor I once knew is unavailable!

I love the staff there! They alway's take the time to listen, and are very thorough when trying to get to the bottom of whatever it is that is going on. I feel comfortable talking to them and trust them with my well being. Excellent doctor!

Dr. Rubin always gives detailed explanations and advise.the always seems to be bright on. I trust him completely with my healthcare. This is very important for someone to be my primary care doctor and I could have almost anyone I choose.

Sarcastic and poor people skills. Do not see this man if you have chronic diseases. I was accussed of being an alcoholic and drug abuser because of a hand tremor that is due to documented medical condition.

Fantastic knowlegeable physician. Very conscientious, very thorough and on the ball. Practice is becoming busier. Phone busy constantly making it difficult to make appointments and to discuss needs with staff. .

Dr. Lopez is very helpful and both my mother and myself go to him whenever we need anything medical related.
