I have been a patient of Dr Grainger for many years and his care has been very good. The office staff is kind and caring. When you need to be seen, you can always count on getting in quickly. Even the same day.

Hands down, the worst medical practice I've ever dealt with. The office nurse is absolutely horrible, and should not be allowed around patients. When she escorted me to the exam room, she asked me if I had any questions, so I asked her if the office could help me get a COVID-19 vaccine? She pretended she didn't know anything about the vaccines, and then told me that I probably knew more than she did about "that vaccine". While I sat waiting in the exam room, I overheard the the receptionist talking to that nurse about one of their patients that she had on-hold, who called in seeking advice because of a skin rash that she developed after getting her second Covid vaccine dose. That same nurse who had only minutes earlier, that told me she didn't know anything about the Covid vaccines, loudly told the receptionist that the patient, "shouldn't have taken it!" Overhearing her response about the patient on the phone, and her pretending not to know anything about the vaccines in response to my question minutes earlier, leads me to believe she's an anti vaxxer! As for Dr. Grainger, he's hasn't spent more than 5 minutes with me during an exam ever. I never leave his office feeling like I've received adequate care. This, combined with the nurse's attitude about Covid vaccines, I've decided that I will be finding a new doctor.

I changed to Dr Grainger in January 2020 and had a couple of routine office visits. I was hospitalized with a GI bleed in December and Dr Grainger came in three times to see me. He was fully informed about what the GI doc had found and consulted with the GI doc, my cardiologist and my oncologist to coordinate medication changes. Very well done.

It seems that I am not the only victim of the very masculine and aggressive office manager. She is THE nastiest person in Ocala. Because I was a victim of identity theft I cover part of my d.l. number. I asked to not have it uncovered. When the manager heard this she was on the conversation ready for a fight. Almost I wanted was an explanation and assurances to my privacy. Instead she took my card out of the receptionists hand and informed.me that I will.not be seen by the doctor. When questioned and told that she was being nasty she said and I quite, "I'm not being nasty but I will have you removed." I was not being rude or aggressive. I walked out when she felt it necessary to educate me. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!

VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH DR.GRAINGER AND STAFF.THROUGH EXAM ALL QUESTIONS ANSWERED

I want to thank my Physician Dr. C. J. Grainger M.D. and staff for outstanding years of service. My wife daughter and I have seen this doctor for many years. We follow him. He's been that kind and good. His knowledge basically saved our sons life when he was 12. I personally have been in the hospital at the fine Locations of Ocala Reginal and West Marion. Best people ever. Hats off to the Nurses and staff we send our appreciation and respect. Doctor Grainger has been the best for our family medical care. His nurses Sara and Ashton. With Noami and Debbie at counter. Hey, they are a blessing from Heaven the way they handled us. Celina your the best all these years in accounting. I and my family love them for the years of medical help and kindness.

The other reviews I have seen are surprising because I have had much better treatment with him than I did with my former GP. I guess I got lucky in that Dr. Grainger listens to what I'm asking, looks at me when he is talking to me, and his staff have been wonderful.

He either over looked or ignored a report from the Emergency room on my husband and consequently it was a CT scan that showed a mass in my husbands thymus gland and after we went to a different doctor with the report, it turns out to be cancer. Then when I asked for his records for a new doctor, they purged the chart and practically gave us nothing. He should be banned from practice.
