Christopher Schmidt's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Schmitt performed surgery on our adult special needs son this week. He was wonderful! We were very impressed with him and the HCA Florida (Ocala) staff. We are not new to hospital experience and could not have been better treated. It was above and beyond anything we expected. Again thank you Dr. Schmitt and hospital staff.

My experience was AWFUL! On 2/23/23 their office called me to setup an appointment for 2/24/23 at 8:45am. I arrived at 8:30 to be informed that it was for 3/24/23. I told the receptionist that someone yesterday indicated that it was for this Friday and before hanging up said we will see you tomorrow and there is no way i would have confused an appointment for a whole month. The mentioning of March was not indicated. I was asked if I wanted to be put on the waitlist and said I don't know and walked out. I took a moment and came back inside to try and figure out where did the mix up come into place. I ended up speaking to the office manager and finally asked her if my appointment is on 3/24/23 then at what time. She tells me my appointment was at 9:15. I told her that was not what i was told. I was told I had an appointment at 8:45am on 2/24 and now you telling me i have an appointment at 3/24 at 9:15. So not only are the dates wrong the times are wrong. She said we tell patient

What a fantastic Dr. He did surgery on my nose which I'm very pleased with. On my last visit the nurse took my BP which was very low. She told Dr Schmidt and he came in and took it again and didn't like the numbers. He asked me to call my primary because he wanted to talk to him. He told the nurse to come get him once my primary was on the phone. Talk about going above and beyond. A great caring man.

My husband and I are patients of Dr Christopher Schmidt. He is extremely conscientious, caring, listens, very knowledgeable and takes the time to deal with and cure the medical problem you are dealing with. We would highly recommend

He does not listen to anything you try to say , only goes by information his MA gives him

If he spent two minutes with me it was a lot. Left me in room. Didn’t return I didn’t know where he went. Terrible at explaining. Hardly looked in ears. I was at the office over 2 hours. Waste of my time. Have pain in ear that he didn’t address. Just wanted me to buy a hearing aid for frequency loss.

I was very . impressed with the doctor Schmidt knowledge on my condition I visited his office more than one time, He introduced himself and explained everything he was going to do and why... answered all my questions, And his staff was very kind.. I can only find good things to say about them.. The office was also very clean.. I would recommend him.

First time visit for a throat tumor. Staff was pleasant, what time was hot bad. Dr. Schmidt was very informative, gentle. Did a needle biopsy and explained what we need to do next. He certainly was not rude or arrogant. My referral from mymPCP was sent in ion Wed /25 and I was in Dr. Schmidt's office today 8/27.

I personally have had the experience to get to know the doctor very well he does not give up and he will keep trying and working for you to make things better .A little lack of communication with some of the staff, but other than that he is a great doctor I would highly recommend him .As a matter of fact my wife is going to him now for a face lift

Dr Schmidt is rude obnoxious made me very angry I would not recommend him at all. The staff wasveryrude.please do not go to this Dr.
