Coast Dental's Online Review Report Card

It took me a long time to find a good dentist. Dr Fox and his staff are helping me through a difficult process He is more than just my dentist, he is my friend.. They are truly a blessing.

I left another dentist (I had conflict with the way I was treated by the office manager, but everyone else was wonderful). I pulled all of my family members out of that office and went here to Coast. The grass is NOT greener on this side. I made this appointment 4 months ahead. Was examined as a new patient but than was told the cleaning wouldn’t happen for 5 months because of short staff. Really not acceptable. Staff are very nice but there are many challenges this practice is dealing with. I had to take my family members out of here and go back to my old dentist just so we can be seen in a timely manner.

The service at Coast Dental today was awesome. All the staff treated me with great respect and went over and beyond to ensure my teeth were clean properly and polished. Thank you so much, Sandra welcome

Everything was good. Everyone was polite and helpful. And explain what I needed to have done. A a very good environment place to go to. An amazing help.

The waiting was very short .The Dr. and the nurse stayed till they completed the procedure and it was perfect.

Good team.There is a need for more staff as I have to wait a long time for a follow up appointment.

The office staff was polite and professional. My hygienist, Olga was a blessing. She was polite and professional. She demonstrated a high level of skills when she completed a pain free deep cleaning, with no pain medication. I will have no problem returning to the office for future treatments.

They made Me wait over two months for a appointment and then they wasted My time and day waiting for nothing to be done to fix anything and gave Me another appointment in the middle of March and it’s early December now

Spoke to the call center twice to schedule an appointment for some pain and to fix a filling that fell out. They could not get me in for about 3.5 weeks and I was told it would be a new patient appointment (X-rays and exam). I had asked for a call back both times I called to see if the actual facility could get me in sooner but I never heard anything. Fast forward to today and after waiting over an hour in the lobby and filling out a dozen pages of paperwork, I was called back and told they scheduled it only for an emergency visit with one X-ray, and that they didn’t have time for a new patient visit. I ended up walking out since I have three quadrants hurting and one X-ray isn’t going to cut it. A few things that are also relevant here: the entire lobby full of patients were used to waiting HOURS for their appointments. The receptionist was rude on the phone and we could all hear the staff talking badly about patients in the back. Nobody in that room was happy. The receptionist told one patient he isn’t supposed to change insurance in the middle of a treatment plan after he informed them he was switching come the new year, which is obviously a lie. We were told there’s only one doctor and one assistant and rescheduling wouldn’t make a difference since they would probably still only have the same staff. Apparently keeping staff is an issue. There were more support staff behind the desk than patient care staff. So, I drove an hour each way and got child care just so I could wait in the lobby and be told they couldn’t do my appointment. The staff reaction was that this happens frequently with the call center employees (whom do not speak fluent English). I would never recommend Coast to anyone. I only chose it bc it’s on my insurance. I would rather just pay out of pocket than deal with these shady places - the Coast locations are all the same and I should have known better.
