I'm not a religious person, but I do believe Dr. Ang was put on this planet to save countless lives. He is the most compassionate, driven, intelligent, awe-inspiring human I've ever met, and I owe my life to him. He is a brilliant person, but also feels like a friend. I couldn't ask for a better doctor. If you're ever unlucky enough to wind up in trauma, you're a lucky SOB to be cared for by Dr. Darwin Ang.

Was seen there when I had automobile accident. He helped save my life. However after seeing him on follow-up treatments my tone changed considerably. Kept telling him the rib plate he put in was hurting me. Finally went to another doctor in Gainesville, FL. Shands ortho was much better. They answered my questions and seemed to be concerned more that Dr Ang. Only in an emergency I would use Dr. Ang again.

Excellent surgeon! I had to have an emergency procedure done that was fairly routine, but my cardiac / medication history made it high-risk. Dr. Ang worked with my cardiologist to develop a plan which lowered the risks and made surgery possible. He took the time to explain the surgery to my family while I was in recovery, then spent a good deal of time with me answering questions and giving recommendations for minimizing complications. Can't say enough positive things about him!

Dr. Ang was the primary trauma surgeon @ Shands Hospital who saved my son's life. He is a brilliant superstar of a man.
