Dr Ethier is an excellent surgeon, compassionate and takes into account the whole person not just the orthopedic issue. Dr. Ethier did my first total hip arthroplasty. It is perfectly aligned. I had several serious complications in the hospital and Dr. Ethier was right there all the time to evaluate and treat me. I am doing well. Dr. Ethier is now retired. I had surgery on my rotator cuff about 5 years ago and Dr. Ethier did a fantastic job. Over the past few years I have had absolutely no problems. I would highly recommend him, he explained my problem and what had to be done. I have the utmost confidence in him.

Both my wife and I had total knee replacement on both knees. My wife was walking in 4 days with a minimum of pain! I took a little longer and had pain for 3 weeks. It has been several years now and we both are doing great. It was a miracle how he took us from having a hard time just walking (with pain) to moving around like we were youngsters. He is terrific.

I agree with these reviews as my experience here was terrible and the botched job he did with partial knee replacement and tearing my hip during surgery has devastated my life. Insurance approved a full knee replacement and he did a partial and meniscus repair.....and billed for three procedures, all the while over charging me also. Incredible. Then of course he wants nothing to do with you and sends you off for pain management to the tune of seven steroid injections in one year which as to be damaging to your body also. Horrible experience.

Dr Ethier performs lateral knee replacements instead of the top of the knee. My recovery was very fast and I was walking the halls the day after surgery. He has a wonderful bedside manner, listens to his patients and works on a plan with the patient. This was a great experience compared to my other knee replacement 3 years ago. I highly recommend him and his staff.

He has a great attitude, explains everything and answered everyone of my many questions. I recently had Total shoulder Arthroplasty performed by Dr. Ethier. I can say in no uncertain terms that everything went very well. I am now in my recovery phase. I would not hesitate one bit recommending Dr. Ethier for all orthopedic needs especially joint replacements. He is highly respected by his colleagues, all the nurses at the hospital and I have a very high respect of him. Thank you Dr. Ethier!

Great! He is the best. Scheduled appointment for a second opinion with Dr. Ethier. What a great experience. He is the best surgeon. Wish I had met him years ago. Highly competent and compassionate. My family loved him too!

I had knee replacement by Dr. Ethier in 2011. Following surgery I had severe pain with physical therapy. Dr. Ethier did not see me for SEVEN weeks following surgery. Because of pain I only achieved 80 degrees of flexion and therefore could not go up and down stairs or get in or out of a car without pain. My activities were severely limited even though I was in excellent health EXCEPT for my knee. I had revision of my knee replacement this year after 21 months of pain. I now have excellent range of motion and no pain. Please see another doctor.
