I am a high risk patient. I had pelvic cancer and underwent radiation until my public skin fell off over and over. The chemotherapy and radiation put me into immediate menopause. I have vaginal atrophy. My skin is friable and excoriated. I've been seen by a colleague of this doctor ever since. Until he retired. Well then Dr Murphy decided to have my gynecological exam by the least experienced member of the staff. Did they use a speculum appropriate for someone who as never given birth and isn't secually active? No Did this inexperienced mid level car.and has Dr Murphy properly overseen the work.no.. this is the closest thing I have witnessesd to extremely bad practice management in my 50 years of having pelvic exams. I screamed during the exam twice. Then the mid-level failed to get a pap smear. What I would like to is how was "I" went from an experienced MD, to someone with limited experience.. iwas in pain for 12 hours. not impressed..they have no idea who "i "am, just a number.

There just not enough great comments to leave here. Always excellent care and concern. Dr. Murphy has been my OB-GYN starting in 1989. My three daughters became patients and ALWAYS pleased. I trust his advice beyond any other. The BEST Doctor in Ocala.

Truly the kindest and most caring doctor I’ve ever had. Although I don’t love to go for my yearly visit lol, I do love getting to see Dr. Murphy! They broke the mold after this one.
