I am blessed enough that dr Bucy took me in at the last moment. Time is ticking for me, I was diagnosed with a large cancer growth on my spine. multiple myeloma. Dr. Bucy has an incredible facility with super staff. I’m going in for my 4th treatment today. After suffering to make the first 3 treatments today I woke up feeling alive again! My journey has just begin, thank you dr Bucy and staff for helping me. Vicki Armour Part II I was a professional athlete,Vicki Armour polo, google me. I have been considered by the medical professionals as having a very high pain thrust hold. New Years Eve was my first hospital ER Visit for the most traumatic pain I’ve ever experienced having on my body. My right lower back sciatic area was under siege! I waited 15 hrs at Shans Hospital (told by others as being top in Gainesville, FL. They missed by Large Cancer Growth that is wrapped around my spine! And other area on my ribs and cord compression)They were more worried about my ekg being abnormal then actually reading the Cat Scan they did on me. I had an outside input tell me the ekg had temporarily changed due to the pain I was experiencing. (HCA Ocala Regional) THANK YOU! Part III Dr. Bucy Radiology has treated me with 6-7 radiology treatment. I woke up yesterday being able to sleep laying down, over sitting up. I was on pain level 1-2 over 10+ and stopped taking Oxycodone 15MG (Which was reaping havoc on my compilation)😱 Wow what a relief! Again I know my journey has only just begins. But to slow gratitude to Dr. Bucy and staff for their help.

Initially fantastic... After that he has no real time for you and your new questions. What he is treating is not a headache (take 2 aspirins and go to bed) this is radiation and maybe some of us are not text book patients, I feel like I am now a gennie pigs. I have new concerns and he is just to busy to give you 5 minutes, he either was really pulled away from my time within 4 minutes with his silent pager or it was real, next meeting of 3 minutes the nurse open the door and said that he was needed elsewhere... And was annoyed when I said that I had two questions about my body changes, he could have returned to talk to me but said that the nurse will answer my questions... So uninterested in patients... If I could transfer to someone else I would do it A.S.A.P.

Dr. G. Steven Bucy is the most caring, knowledgeable and extremely organized Doctor I've met in a long time. Being diagnosed with cancer is bad enough but finding a doctor that is caring and takes time to listen to your concerns is another. I highly recommend Dr. Bucy and trust him completely. Not great. No bedside manner, and had trouble inserting the radiation wand where it needed to go. No comparison to Dr. Lightsey, who has a wonderful, and caring personality,-and had no trouble at all with the radiation wand, causing no pain or discomfort, which I had with Dr. Bucy. This is invasive enough, without being made to feel very vulnerable, with not a lot of consideration. He made me feel uncomfortable.

Dr. Bucy and staff have been amazing. This is the last leg of my cancer treatment. Dr.Bucy is smart,easy to talk to and confident. The one constant I hear from the therapists as they position me is..."Perfect". For as many patients as they see in a day...you're markings must always be "Perfect". They say it slowly and confidently,then the radiation can begin. In the 7 weeks I've been there,not one off day;not one negative thing can be said. The front staff & nurses are exceptional too.

Dr. Bucy and staff are amazing. He is smart,compassionate and current. His staff;front desk,nurses,Drs. and therapists,all reflect a genuine care for their clients. I am coming out of 7 weeks of radiation and could not be more pleased!

This is the only office in Ocala that I would recommend to anyone needing a radiation oncologist! This kindness, zen atmosphere and caring attitude of Dr Bucy is beyond compare. Still enjoy yearly visits with him. You are treated very well!

I dealt with Dr. Bucy the first time 10 years ago for radiation treatment and for follow up. Then recently my cancer metastasized and I required radiation again. Dr. Bucy is caring and an exceptional doctor. He takes time to explain what is going on and is there whenever you need him. His staff is stellar . Their care, concern and friendliness make a difficult situation more than bearable. You are always greeted and taken care of promptly. I would recommend Dr. Bucy and his facility to anyone in need of his type of medical care.

Horrible bedside manner. He behaved in a very infantile and defensive manner when he was questioned about options. Stormed out of the room. We will never go back there and would never recommend him

Very caring. Takes time to talk to you. Excellent facility and wonderful doctor.
