List of Hca North Florida Hospitals's Reviews
The CEO of this hospital appears to be bonus driven cutting here cutting there for example overloading the ER when there are empty ER rooms in other places placing a chaotic hospital experience on the ones that need care immediate attention. Hence the hospital Drs nurses staff are all disconnected in their level of Standard of Care. The ER itself is dirty everyone rushed for example try flag a nurse for anything the responseI will be right back hours later...They call the hospital a teaching hospital? Really needs investigation because you have resident Drs giving medical care without a medical license? That opens the door to negligible malpractice.Do not go there if you need medical attention it fails in the practice of scholarly medicine where integrity humanitarian concerns and care should be practiced. Many of these physicians and nurses have their nose is so far up in the air they havent learned a thing about compassion about integrity about ethics nothing about standard of care.Do not go there....
They gave my father something known to not work and eventually kill people that have Covid. He was Covid free for a few days but bad and the nurses never called me to let me know I can come in and see him. I got the last 15 min. Horrid .My father died of Covid infection in this hospital. They dont know it yet but the only reason Im writing this is because Im actually looking for who I call to get my dead fathers records. Rendezivier was used instead of Ivermectin. Im going there. I want all the records or Ill get lawyers involved. Im coming for those records. And I wont take no for a answer.
Do not go thereVery poor practice of standard of care.Rude Dr s over worked nurses.Very poor hospital management.Very poor housekeeping.ER hospital run by 2 + year residents who do not have their primary physicians accompanying them during triage processes. If you reach out for medical treatment your told we will be right there hours later you are still waiting. When your finally brought back to ER there are gurneys everywhere while there is a section of multiple empty rooms.Do not go thereUnless your will to compromise your health safety.
If you have a loved one with dementia or who is not capable of speaking up for themselves never leave your loved one here My 80 yo father is literally crying to me and my mother on the phone because he is so confused. The hospital will block family access even with a POA and deny patients access to their advocate. Clear violation of civil rights under the ADA RA and ACA. Having an advocate with a dementia patient is considered a reasonable accommodation under ADA. The state of PA spells it out well httpswww.disabilityrightspa.orgwpcontentuploads202004V3Hospitalvisitation.pdf Here is the link to file a civil rights violation which can also cause the hospital to loose federal funding. httpswww.hhs.govcivilrightsfilingacomplaintcomplaintprocessindex.html
Your hospital is blocking families who have a POA from access to their loved ones who are UNABLE TO MAKE THEIR OWN DECISIONS This is UNETHICAL and ILLEGAL You are forcing my aunt to get a LAWYER just to see her husband who cannot advocate for himself SHAME ON YOU hospitalskillingpatients
Had a severe accident Saturday morning and was brought to the ER the entire staff has no sense of urgency in the ER. Was admitted to the orthopedic floor because I was lucky enough to only have a broken leg. My wife was not allowed to come see me during my stay there except for an hour before and an hour after surgery. My pants and boots were cut off and my wife was not allowed to bring me any new clothes unless they were brand new in a store bought package. Their rules for COVID make absolutely ZERO sense and they make the entire process for the family completely horrible. Worst ER and hospital. I WILL give a shout out though to the surgical team that did a great job on my leg and the one nurse that I had Saturday night I called her Ms. Sharron that was very good at her job and had the best personality. The rest of the nurses and staff suck.
Wouldnt take a sick rat there. Took my spouse there 3 times in 2020 and once in 2021. Was admitted all four times for at least three days each time. He died last March in this Vet Clinic. Same hospital physician on every visit but I am STILL waiting to speak with him in spite of numerous requests when I was there. Total chaos in the ER every time. Ive left instructions to take me any place but ORMC should I get sick
awful unprofessional care. chaos. no HIPA guidelines... staff dress unprofessional. no one wears name tags. admissions had me sign in on scrap paper......the worst by far care in Florida
Horrible experience at Ocala Regional ER. I took my daughter there with severe abdominal pain in late July. A nurse took her blood pressure and asked her a few questions. They took our insurance copay offering a 20% discount if we paid it then. We waited 3 hours without being seen and left asking for the copayback which was denied. They are now billing usinsurance $1000 for not being seen. Are they really that uncaring that they will take your money for nonservice? I have never been to a medical facility that was run so poorly. Are there better hospitals in the area. I will avoid Ocala Regional from now on.
At 930 tonight this hospital is trying to release my paraplegic sister in law and making her go home to a house that is not equipped to handle her condition No hospital bed wheelchair or any other equipment that will make this transition SAFE This treatment is disgusting It’s all about the almighty dollar not what’s best for the patients

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
