I have been a patient of Dr. Nelson’s for a little over 6 years now I have also seen Dr. Myra Sherman on days he has been out of the office she’s a gem. Actually my entire family has been going to this office for years as well. He treats me and my family with the utmost he listens and he takes his time to make sure his patients understand his recommendations and medical treatments. His office works diligently and they return calls in a timely manner get your messages answered by end of day. This office from the providers to the “frontback of the house” communicate very well. Now depending on the times you schedule your appointments you will wait for some time not long at all. I recommend the earlier times of the day because in the afternoons it gets busy. It’s a popular office so expect the wait. Learn to be patient 🙂. I can not complain whatsoever I’m appreciative of their attention they give my family and myself. I am 100% positive the same courtesy is extended to all of their patients both new and established. I recommend this doctor as well as Dr. Myra Sherman and this practice to anyone who needs a family doctor primary or just a fresh perspective on their general health.

Dr Nelson addressed and started treatment for one of my issues. He is kind answers your questions and gives you his time without feeling rushed. The one assistant don’t know her name or status was quite short with her assessment of the situation while the other aide wouldn’t listen to what I was telling her and just went ahead and did things the way she wanted it done. I had to redo the dressing when I got back to the car. In spite of the unnecessary Covid requirements the office staff was nice and courteous. Dr. Nelson will treat or refer you as appropriate.

I have been a patient Family Care of Ocala Specialist for over 10 years. My provider is Dr. Myra Sherman and she is by far AMAZING She is knowledgeable professional and very personable to your visit to her. Dr. Myra will educate and advise you. The entire office staff is so welcoming and treat everyone like family. I am blessed to be a patient at this office. It’s so nice to see how well the staff works together and there’s smiles everywhere.

I always enjoy my visits with Myra Sherman. She takes time to go over my care and explains results of my blood work. The check out lady is customer friendly. Myras med asst is nice also.
