Jason Lippert's Online Review Report Card

I'd had abdominal pain of increasing frequency for a week until it became severe and unrelenting early one Saturday morning. Natchez ER saw me and sent me home with an Rx for pain after a sonogram showed gallbladder sludge (a red herring), but I could not keep anything down due to repeated vomiting. The pain worsened into near agony by that evening, so I went to the hospital ER. With cold dismissiveness, Lippert announced he'd order a CAT scan but would be “sending [me] home if it didn't show anything." Maybe he thought I was seeking drugs, but I had a pain Rx from Natchez that morning, and I had last been at the ER a year prior for illness totally unrelated to pain. A winter storm was forecast and the prospect of being stuck at home was scary. The CAT scan "showed something," so I was admitted, but not all illnesses could have been ruled out by just a CAT scan--and I was vomiting, dehydrated, and in very severe pain. Zero compassion at all. Everyone else at Tristar was great.

Very bad bedside manners, my mother was taken to the ER for chest pains and initially they said she had a blood clot near the heart, keep her in the ER all day and ran test that afternoon, came back unknown diagnosis Dr went home and told nurses to release her to go home..No way is this acceptable..

I was taken by ambulance for broken ankle. (Turned out it was the worst kind. It was broke 3 places) was in excruciating pain. He was so rude about it. And talked to my fiancé and son like they were stupid. Then I read in his report thru the app today that he said I was to intoxicated to answer questions. I’d had 2 drinks over a 2 hour period when this happened. I couldn’t answer due to the medication given to me by ambulance to knock me out for the hour ride to ER. He assumed because it happened at the river beach that I was intoxicated. I actually slipped in quick mud. Just a freak accident. After he set it, I was coming back to myself the pains started again. This time worse. He had the nerve to tell me to stop hollering. Then he said I had to have surgery in morning, of course my family had questions, he didn’t want to hear them. Just rude. No ppl skills. He’s the only bad Apple i dealt with in my 5 day stay. The rest were awesome .

My mom was taken to the ER at TriStar Horizon in Dickson, TN and Dr. Lippert was the ER doctor. She had an intestinal bleed and he never once examined her, listened to her heart, or introduced himself to her. He was very pompous to me and my brother talking about his student loans. He wanted to "monitor" her from his desk through the night in a bed in the ER. We checked her out "against medical advice" and took her to Centennial in Nashville, TN where they immediately started an IV, CT Scan and admitted her. Dr. Lippert should not be allowed to practice in any hospital.
