Jay Rubin's Online Review Report Card

Dr Rubin changed his job, there doesn't appear to be any valid phone # or contact to get my medical reports so I can have CPAP updated since Phillips recall. I find it totally unethical for a physician to take a new local job as a director of an agency and not maintain his records in a way that is accessible to patients and other providers.

This man is a quack!!!! I went to him 4 times and never saw him once to only be told he was closing his office and going into research. What a joke this person is. And I see where he is accepting new patients!!!! For what? Why? I was so betrayed by this person.

When I actually saw Dr Rubin, he was quite good. That’s where it ended though. J. Fletcher knows next to nothing about migraines and medication. Or Dystonia. Once I waited in an exam room for over an hour. About two weeks ago, I received a letter that they were dropping me as a patient (?) due to a missed appt.,(?) I never received a reminder phone call, typically the appt would have been made 6-9 months previous. Extremely poor office management. Then, I received a bill for a fee of $25 for the missed appt! The gall of them!! Run, don’t walk. There is absolutely no need to treat patients like this. I have numerous Dr’s and I have never, knowingly missed an appt. I’m glad to be done with them. My advice- look for another Dr

Great staff very friendly Dr Rubin is a amazing dr. Please dont pay attention to these bias reviews. This Dr and his Staff are great people. I highly recommend him and this place....

I saw Dr Rubin and found him to be very knowledgeable and personable. I'm only disappointed he is leaving his practices to do research for now. Everyone in office was kind, helpful and professional.

I was recommended to Dr. Rubin for a sleep study by my Ocala GP. Six years later, having moved to Washington State, my CPAP is failing badly, and my current GP simply needs a copy of that study to prescribe a new CPAP before this one dies. No one at NeuroHealth responds to FAXes from my doctor, email from me to Dr. Rubin, or phone calls to the office. The operator will put me through to a phone that no one answers or responds to my voicemail. They claim to not be able to send my study either to me or my doctor electronically, but only via mailm yet they don't respond to personal mail from me either. These are trying times, and this Doctor's office certainly is failing his hippocratic oath.

I have been trying for, literally, months to get a copy of my sleep study done at Dr. Rubin's NeuroHealth Center in Ocala, FL. Since my study, I have moved to Washington State and my CPAP is failing badly. My current GP needs a copy of the sleep study in order to prescribe a new CPAP for me. Neither Dr. Rubin nor anyone on his staff has responded to FAXes from my doctor, phone calls from me, or a personal letter asking for a copy of my study. The operator will send you to a phone that no one answers, and if it even accepts voicemail, no one replies. They claim to have no way to send or receive email, although email is listed on their website. They aren't even open during the hours they claim to be open. Clearly Dr. Rubin doesn't care about his patients, since there are many complaints about his care and his office. The lack of response could negatively affect my health.

I'll echo the complaint about the Ocala office. It is the most unprofessional medical office I have ever encountered. They aren't open when the website says they are open, the person answering the phone will put you through to a phone no one answers or responds to voicemail; they don't have email (though the website claims they do); Dr. Rubin never returns email sent to him; and they don't even respond to FAXes from my doctor or personal letters from me. In any other circumstance you'd assume it was a scam operation. I had a sleep study done in Ocala, and since then have moved to Washington State. My CPAP is failing badly, and I simply need a copy of my sleep study for my doctor to write a prescription for a new one. The lack of response from Dr. Rubin and his Ocala office endangers my health.

My experience with the Ocala office has been dismal. They can't find test results, don't call back, don't do anything unless you call them over and over. Office staff is not even close to friendly
