The nurse practitioner who works under dr chen is awful. how dare you treat patients this way. you should be ashamed. i am disgusted. if you cant listen to your pts and validate their experiences or symptoms just quit now please. dr chen you should evaluate this NPs pt care bc this is so far from best practice as she is making you and your practice look horrible. Your NP is borderline abusive to pts I am sick to say the way you treated my sister is simply no way to treat people.

I liked the doctor you just cant reach anyone they never answer the phone and have left multiple messages with no return call.

I would give them ZERO stars if I could. Dr Chen is a nice person. But the billing and coding department with SIMED is absolutely horrible I was charged $227.00 out of pocket for an office visit after my insurance paid their part that should have been coded as a preventative visit. On the day that I had the appointment I thought it was free. Then I got a the bill. When you call the billing department they tell you to leave a message and allow them two weeks to return the call. That is unacceptable This office codes so that they can make more money off the patient when we are paying for insurance so that we dont have to pay such high amounts. Unacceptable I changed my doctor

Dr. Chen was OK some medication dosage discrepancies. The REAL nightmare was with her medical assistant. Shawanda. I had to pull teeth just to get my perscrption refilled. She said that my Rheumatologist was responsible for my refills She refused to help me in any way untill I reported her to Simed main office. So they left it up to the office manager to take care of it. Of course she made excuses and sided with Shawanda. I wouldnt take my pets there. ??
