Your receptionist is rude and unintelligent.

I was in emergent need for second opinion urological surgical consult and started asking around to find a good one. A friend of mine suggested Dr. Chacko. As my friend works in healthcare in the area and is abundantly familiar with who is decent and who to avoid, I was very thankful for the invaluable information. I was able to get an appt very quickly due to the nature of the problem. I was and am very very grateful for this. This man is very busy but he found time to fit me in his very tight schedule. The woman assisting, a virtual one-man-band, is best described as a rarity seldom seen in healthcare. She was exceptionally warm, tender, with empathy flowing from every pore. The doctor was exceptionally knowledgeable, warm, down to earth with a refreshing mindset also best described as a rarity in healthcare. He has a peace to him not seen in many. Certainly not in any surgeons I’ve worked with! He answered any and all questions I had with patience and careful consideration. I feel safe and well-cared for under his care. I absolutely would recommend him to anyone in need of a urologist. After having two distinctly bad experiences in a row with urologists an hour north where I live, he is a breath of fresh air.

We have alot of love for Dr. CHAKO.

I wish I could put zero stars. The most rude, uncaring and unkind doctor. God forbid he is assigned to you or your family at the hospital at the Villages. My dad was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia and is suffering with advanced cancer. The hospital doctor assigned to my dad told us that a kidney issue was found either from the labs or X-rays and needed to be addressed as urine is backing up in his system. My dad had been seeing his own urologist for bladder cancer previously and we requested that doctor, but the hospital primary said, no Dr. Chacko is the hospital doctor on call and he will handle the evaluation and next steps. After waiting for him all day Dr. Chacko finally came to see my dad at night, berated him for not calling his own doctor for a urology complication no one knew he had until he was already in the hospital for two days - he told him he doesn’t know his case and he only deals with people in the hospital for emergencies - which this was as my dad was admitted via Emergency. He acted like he could not be bothered AT ALL and we have no confidence that he cares at all or will follow up. The encounter was absolutely atrocious and frankly cruel. I have no idea if he is good at treating issues - I guess you’d have to be successful at begging him to care or treat to you to know that. Good luck on that!

My husband Jim Britt is being seen by Dr Chacko, his visits are always done in a timely manner with professional services rendered. We find his office staff to be very polite and courteous.

Dr. Chacko goes over your diagnosis and treatments thoroughly. Has a good patient relationship.

Dr Chacko’s staff is very considerate and caring. They always make you feel comfortable. Dr Chacko is very attentive to you and stays concerned for you. He’s all about the patient and their diagnosis. If you have questions, just ask. I like it when I can talk to the Dr and not the computer, like some Dr’s do.

Absolutely fantastic physician. Well-knowledge, kind, empathetic, patient, and down to earth. I’ve worked with surgeons for years and never have I met one with such zen. He came highly recommended to me (“He is beloved by staff and patient alike”) after having two bad experiences with urologists in the city I live in an hour away. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the service provided. That comes as no small feat, I’m not so easy to please. ??

I have been seeing Dr. Chacko for over 2 years. He is very compassionate and really cares about you. He always wants to do the best for you. Dr. chacko has great skills with over 35 years of experience. I always feel comfortable knowing I will be in good hands in Dr. chacko's care.

This doctor has no bed side manner, Very rude. My mom went into hospital with infection and this Dr was assigned to her while there . I would not waste your time with him or his office staff. We went into see him when my mom got out of nursing home, and didn’t have the time to go over her situation. Not sure how he is still in business.
