I went to Dr. Jiron for a nodule on my thyroid which necessitated half of my thyroid be removed. He was clear on what to expect and the possible hazards of the surgery. I already had full faith in him because he was recommended to me by my cancer doctor but even the anesthesiologist stated that if he needed surgery on the throat he would want Dr. Jiron to perform it. He did a wonderful job even though my short neck made the surgery more complicated than normal. While my follow-up appointment was with his nurse, he did come in and check up on me as well. I definitely recommend him.

Staff was cold and impersonal. Pushed me through the routine like an assembly line. No smiles. No eye contact. Dr Jiron cut me off as I attempted to describe my issue “One sentence. Give me one sentence.” My issue was more complex than that. I did not get my issue resolved, and I won’t go back. I found him a bit cocky and full of himself.

This appointment feels like a drive-thru. Feels like everyone is hurrying you to get out. Staff are rude and doesn’t look at you when talking to you. They are the only ENT in Ocala and that is why they don’t care about patient customer service.
