Karla Joviak's Online Review Report Card

Dr Joviak used to practice in St Petersburg, Florida. She had late office hours which was great for me because I had a full time job. However, I would make a 4 o'clock appointment and, come 6 p.m. I would still be sitting in the lobby. Once I was called into the room, I would be rushed through, probably because she was tired. This is not something that happened occasionally, it happened on every appointment. Needless to say, once I found a new doctor, I did leave her practice. She must fit in real well in "Slocala"

She has no manners, no empathy or compassion, she's short and has no bedside manner and abandoned my Mom the DAY BEFORE her surgery and said "just find someone else" but it took months to jump through all their hoops, get the testing, and insurance approvals, but she thinks I can "just find someone else." the day before surgery!! This is uttterly ridiculous and SO beyond unprofessional!! I would go to vet clinic before I would go to this doctor!!! The company that owns this practice is Team Health out of Tennessee and they are equally as awful! Find a doctor and office that has no affiliation with Team Health as well!!

Dr. Joviak is wonderful. Kathy on the other hand is questionable. I guess it depends on her mood that day. I was treated like a disobedient child when I tried to make an appointment for an annual check up because I skipped a year! Unfortunately I do not see Dr. Joviak any more.

Dr. Joviak is a very freindly and caring physician. Unlike some physicians she takes the time to listen to what I am saying and answers questions when asked for clarification on anything. She does not hesitate to refer me to a specialist if need be. Kathy is very competent and friendly.

Dr. Joviak is a very thorough physician.She folllows up or refers on any symptoms brought to her attention. She has a great bed-side mannor and pleasing personality. I would highly recommend her.

She spends a lot of time with you and listens to you,but the one other person on staff reminds her she is taking to much time,while you are with her. Receiving test results can be a difficult chore. She will not call in prescriptions for you, she insists on you coming into the office, because she does not get paid to call in prescriptions she told me.Her one and only staff person refuses to even fax prescriptions in for you. These are my personal experiences with this office.While she is usually on time, I felt the lack of timely test results and the staff person interrupting to tell her she is taking to long very annoying. I found the office space she is in pretty, clean, and neat, but the attitudes are bothersome to me.

SHE IS ALWAYS STRAIGHT UP WITH YOU. SHE IS CONCERNED OF THE PERSON AS A WHOLE. SHE IS ALWAYS ON TIME.SHE HAS A EFFECIENT STAFF PERSON WITH HER.

The only doctor in the universe that I will go to faithfully. Both Doc and Kathy are the best and they are both very caring and attentive.

Difficult to judge Dr. Office staff was the worst.

Staff was very friendly and timely. Dr. was very knowledgeable and spent a lot of time getting to know me. Very good.
